Once Human’s enormous map contains plenty of interesting locations, from settlements to Strongholds, unmarked POIs, and of course, Securement Silos. The former are essentially dungeons that players can repeatedly farm, making them very lucrative sources of loot. Securement Silo Theta is one of the easier ones to do, but if it’s your first time running it, you’ll want to keep some things in mind.
Securement Silo Theta is found in the Red Sands region near coordinates (5517, -529). It’s a level 45 dungeon, though you can easily clear it on Normal mode with a level 40 character, provided that you bring some upgraded weapons in Once Human. Here’s a rundown on what you can expect from this place.

Updated November 19, 2024 by Marc Santos: Silo Theta has remained the same ever since Once Human was first released, but the game itself has seen a ton of new changes and content overall. Players on the Manibus scenario should still be able to run through this dungeon and farm both its boss and the Silo Theta puzzle as much as they want. However, those in the Way of Winter scenario will have to go someplace else if they want specific armor mods. We’ve updated this guide to include Silo Theta’s rewards and the alternative dungeon option for Way of Winter players.
Once Human Securement Silo Theta Walkthrough
This dungeon is pretty straightforward. The map layout is linear, and while there are plenty of enemies inside, none of them are particularly threatening (unless you let them swarm you, that is). Silo Theta is much easier than Once Human’s Securement Silo Alpha despite the level difference simply because the enemies here don’t have guns.
For the first part of this dungeon, simply clear the sewer tunnels of enemies. A weapon with the Unstable Bomber perk can make quick work of the zombies and Gnawers in this area since they have fairly low health relative to your weapon’s damage. Alternatively, you can use grenades or the red explosive barrels to quickly get rid of groups.
Seepage Zone And Securement Silo Theta Statues Puzzle
The Silo Theta Puzzle is very easy to miss. You can find it in the first big room where you have to clear Nest Sacs in the water. Get rid of all the sacs and enemies, then proceed through the barred doorway directly opposite the entrance to the room. Interact with the statue to enter the Seepage Zone.
Once you arrive at the Seepage Zone, you’ll find a large, underground anti-flooding facility with six statues. The solution to the Silo Theta puzzle is to rotate the statues so that they match their reflections on the water. Pay close attention to the features of the statues so you don’t get confused.

After fixing the statues, the giant Deviation will emerge from the reflection. Shoot the sac on its bottom to stun it, then unload on the large boil on top of it to deal critical damage. Avoid its attacks and keep pouring the DPS on it until it dies. After that, claim your loot, then touch the statue at the entrance again to return to the silo.
Platforming Sections
Upon returning to the real world, turn right to find a tunnel flooded with black sludge. You can ignore the platforms here and just run straight to the other side. Gnawers will spawn from the sludge, and if you get hit by the gas spewers on the walls, your movement will be interrupted, so be careful. Also, you’ll have to manage your Sanity here as staying in the black sludge will cause it to decline.
After crossing the tunnel, you’ll reach a larger room with roots and green bulbs. Cross the room using the roots while taking down the Searchlights, and you’ll arrive at the boss arena.
Securement Silo Theta Boss Fight
The boss fight here is pretty simple, but you’ll have to worry about the arena being flooded with sludge. If you don’t want your maximum health to go down, fight on the elevated platforms and only move when absolutely required.
The boss, Saint El, is a named variant of one of the usual Elite Deviations you find in the open world. Shoot the boils on its legs until it falls down, then shoot its flower-head to deal critical damage. Saint El will spawn Gnawers when it’s not trying to kill you, and you can easily find yourself overwhelmed if you don’t take care of them quickly. Combat Deviations like Lonewolf’s Whisper, Zeno Purifier, and Mini Feaster are great for this fight since they can draw attention away from you.
Once the boss dies, a loot chest will spawn. Use Controllers to get the best possible drops, and don’t forget to check the chests in the room before exiting the dungeon.
Silo Theta Rewards
Completing Silo Theta (including the statues puzzle) will reward players with the following:
- Weapons and/or armor
- Eclipse Cortexes
- Energy Links
- Armor Mod Parts
- Top/Chest Armor Mods
- Enchanting Void Deviant
- Dr. Teddy Deviant
Silo Theta in Way of Winter
Since Way of Winter takes place in a different region, Silo Theta is inaccessible to players in this scenario. If you want to farm Chest Armor mods in northern Nalcott, you’ll instead need to farm Silo 08, which is in the Ember Strand region. This is a completely different dungeon with new challenges to face, though you can expect to get both Chest and Pants mods to drop from the boss here.
