Chapter 6 marks the end of Black Myth: Wukong, and it takes place at Mount Huaguo. While this location is not home to a tremendous number of bosses, there are a handful of Chiefs and Kings to battle. This guide details the positions of all of those foes, and it will help fans find every boss in Black Myth: Wukong‘s sixth chapter.

It is not mandatory that

Black Myth: Wukong
players
beat all the bosses detailed in this guide. Indeed, fans can make their way to the final boss after defeating just the Gold Armored Rhino, Cloudtreading Deer, Feng-Tail General, and Emerald-Armed Mantis if that is their preference.

Black Myth Wukong: All Chapter 6 Boss Locations (Mount Huaguo)

Supreme Inspector (Character)

Players will fight this character just after activating the Verdant Path Keeper’s Shrine, the level’s first checkpoint.

Almost all the remaining bosses are found within the level’s open field. This guide will instruct players to start at the edge of the cliff just past the Supreme Inspector’s arena when pursuing these bosses, as that location is a good point of reference, though it is certainly possible to travel directly from one boss to the next.

Jiao-Loong of Waves (Chief)

Players should stand at the edge of the cliff that overlooks the open field and activate Somersault Cloud. Fans of action games should then descend along the face of the cliff and dismount in the water at the bottom. Jia-Loong of Waves will appear within this pool.

Water-Wood Beast (Chief)

Players should stand at the edge of the cliff that overlooks the open field and activate Somersault Cloud. Fans should then ascend to maximum height and go left, flying over the tops of trees. Players who travel in that direction will ultimately reach a pool of water with a circle of ripples at its center, and they should approach those ripples to initiate the fight with the Water-Wood Beast.

Poison Chief (Chief)

Players should stand at the edge of the cliff that overlooks the open field and activate Somersault Cloud. Fans should then ascend to maximum height and go left, flying over the tops of trees. After traveling in this direction for a short distance, players will see a small pool and there is a strange rock in the grass next to the water. Approaching that rock will initiate the fight with this Yaoguai Chief.

Lang-Baw-Baw (Chief)

Players should stand at the edge of the cliff that overlooks the open field and activate Somersault Cloud. Fans of games inspired by Chinese mythology should then descend along the face of the cliff and go right at the bottom. Players that travel in that direction will eventually reach a dirt area, and Lang-Baw-Baw will appear within it.

Son of Stones (Chief)

Players should stand at the edge of the cliff that overlooks the open field and activate Somersault Cloud. Fans should then move forward, maintaining some elevation. As players travel in that direction, they will see a glowing figure at the edge of a cliff, and they should attack it to initiate the fight with the Son of Stones.

Giant Shigandang (King)

Players must have the Skandha of Form, Feeling, Thought, and Choice in their possession before they can fight this boss.

Players should begin at the cliff where they fought the Son of Stones and then follow these directions:

  1. Activate Somersault Cloud and fly deeper into the forest beyond the Son of Stones.
  2. Be on the lookout for a waterfall on the left.
  3. As that waterfall draws near, turn right and fly through a narrow stone corridor.
  4. Follow the path to reach Giant Shigandang’s arena.

Gold Armored Rhino (Chief)

Players should stand at the edge of the cliff that overlooks the open field and activate Somersault Cloud. Fans should then ascend to maximum height and go right, flying over the tops of trees. Players will see lightning striking a dirt arena as they travel in that direction, and they should approach that area to battle Black Myth: Wukong‘s Gold Armored Rhino.

Cloudtreading Deer (Chief)

Players should stand at the edge of the cliff that overlooks the open field and activate Somersault Cloud. Action RPG fans should then move forward and slightly to the right, maintaining some elevation. Players should see lightning as they move in that direction, and approaching the area it is striking, which is beyond some red trees, will start the fight.

Feng-Tail General (Chief)

This giant insect continually jumps around the open field, and players need to dismount onto its back and grab its antenna. While this insect can be encountered in numerous locations, fans who are struggling to locate it should use the images that are above to reach a tall landmass. Indeed, the Feng-Tail General always lands at that position, and players must simply wait for its arrival.

Emerald-Armed Mantis (Chief)

After defeating the Gold Armored Rhino, Cloudtread Deer, and Feng-Tail General, players should stand at the edge of the cliff that overlooks the open field and activate Somersault Cloud. Fans should then move forward and slightly to the left, maintaining some elevation. Players will see a gold tree in the water as they travel in that direction, and they should approach it to fight the Emerald-Armed Mantis.

Stone Monkey & The Great Sage’s Broken Shell

After defeating the Gold Armored Rhino, Cloudtread Deer, Feng-Tail General, and Emerald-Armed Mantis, players should travel to the cliff where they fought the Son of Stones and then follow these steps:

  1. Activate Somersault Cloud and fly deeper into the forest beyond the Son of Stones.
  2. Be on the lookout for a waterfall on the left.
  3. Pass behind the waterfall and follow the path to reach these final bosses.

Players who want to fight the game’s secret bosses, which are detailed in the following section, should not initiate NG+ after beating the Great Sage’s Broken Shell.

Erlang, the Sacred Divinity, The Four Heavenly Kings & Erlang Shen

Players can fight these bosses by pursuing the game’s secret ending, and here is how that is done:

After fulfilling those prerequisites, players should travel to the Snow-Veild Trail Keeper’s Shrine (Pagoda Realm) in the New West, follow the path to the left of the checkpoint, and cross the bridge. Beyond the bridge, fans should turn left and follow the path to reach an ornately decorated wall. Interacting with that wall will transport the Destined One to Black Myth: Wukong‘s Great Pagoda, and players should approach the character in this area to start a cinematic. When that cinematic ends, fans should simply follow the path to fight these bosses.
