Boruto: How Boruto Uzumaki Got Sasuke’s Sword, Revealed
This is how Boruto Uzumaki acquired Sasuke’s sword in Boruto Part 2.
Fans got to see them train together in Boruto: TBV chapter 5 and, at the same time, more focus was also thrown on the monstrosity that Code unleashed on the world using his Claw Grimes. The new villains that appeared in Boruto were central to the chapter and, one of them, who is known to be the clone of Sasuke Uchiha, named Hidari, is going to be fighting against Sarada Uchiha.
Sarada Uchiha’s Strength
Sarada has been an incredibly important character in Boruto, however, fans would argue that she has not received the spotlight that she often deserves. For the vast majority of the Boruto series, Sarada has been cast aside for Boruto and Kawaki. These two characters have taken over the Boruto series and, one can argue that the majority of the focus was completely on them. Sarada certainly did have her moments here and there, but she was not given any proper character progression in Part 1 of the series and that left a sour taste in the mouths of the fans. Of course, in terms of strength, the story did make sure that Sarada progressed somewhat, however, when it comes to characterizing, she was certainly lacking.
That looks like it is about to be changed in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, as Sarada is going to get some real growth in terms of character in her next conflict which is already being set up. Sarada has spent years honing her skills and becoming a worthy candidate for the Hokage position. She has mastered the power of the Sharingan and learned several powerful techniques. She has even awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan, as seen towards the end of the original Boruto manga. Now is the time for Sarada to put all these skills into effect and show the entire world that she is nothing short of an extraordinary ninja.
The Arrival Of Hidari In Boruto
Hidari is the name of Sasuke’s shinju clone which fans saw debuting in the previous chapter of Boruto. As fans know already, the Shinju clones are born when a Claw Grime bites a particular target and absorbs their chakra. The person that is bitten gets turned into a miniature version of the God Tree and, as a result, their chakra and their anomalies are stored inside the tree as well. Then, a clone of them is created somehow and these clones bear the appearance as well as the personality of those who are bitten. When Sasuke Uchiha saved Boruto from Code, he ended up falling to the Claw Grimes due to their sheer number and was turned into a tree as well.
Boruto’s Best Friends, Ranked
These are some of Boruto’s closest companions in the series.
At the same time, the chakra that the tree absorbed from Sasuke led to the creation of his Shinju clone. Hidari was first seen in Boruto: TBV chapter 4, where he attacked Boruto Uzumaki first with his sword appendage that he created from his arm, and later, with a powerful Chidori, that Boruto counted but a powerful Rasengan. Hidari is incredibly strong as he has all the powers that Sasuke possesses and, on top of that, an amp by the 10 Tails itself. He has both the powerful Rinnegan of the 10 Tails and, on top of that, many other overpowered abilities as well. Hidari is certainly going to be overpowered and right from the moment that he was introduced, many fans wanted him to have a confrontation with none other than his daughter, Sarada. It appears that it is now going to become a reality, thanks to confirmation from Boruto: TBV chapter 5.
Sarada Vs Hidari
The Shinju clones are still relatively new in the Boruto series. They were recently created and this means they are still figuring out their instinct. As explained in the previous chapter, the instinct of the Shinju was to devour any nearest source of chakra.
However, they have now grown beyond this instinct and are now starting to develop their own curiosities. As a result, the Shinju clones are far beyond what one would expect. In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 5, it was clear for the fans to see that the Shinju clones were now evolving to a point where they chose particular targets for themselves.
Every single Shinju clone picked a target to consume and grow stronger and, in the case of Hidari, who is the Shinju clone of Sasuke Uchiha, after quite a lot of contemplation, Hidari felt his body cry out for eating Sarada and, that is exactly why he decided to make her his very own target. This only means that Sarada is going to be faced with grave danger very soon and, while that is not a pleasant situation for her, it is also exciting for the fans because Sarada certainly needs her big fight.
Sarada’s Powers Vs Hidari
Sarada Uchiha is going to face off against Hidari very soon in Boruto and, when that happens, she will receive a proper chance to shine and showcase her full powers. The fans know that Sarada would likely have trained incredibly hard over the timeskip and, unlike Boruto, she has not showcased her abilities just yet. Fans don’t even know what exactly she trained in and how she progressed over these three years. The fight against Hidari will allow Sarada to demonstrate her full skillset and showcase to the fans that Boruto Uzumaki is not the only one who has grown stronger. However, most importantly, the fight against Hidari is going to give Sarada the opportunity to grow further.
As fans know, Sarada has awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan already. However, she is likely not aware of the fact that she possesses this power. When she hears of Sasuke’s fate, Sarada could once again awaken the Mangekyo Sharingan and then display this power in the fight against Hidari. Furthermore, Sarada could further evolve her powers in this fight and that would certainly be incredible for all the fans in the world. In the end, this will serve as a great fight for Sarada as it will help her grow stronger and take one step closer towards becoming the Hokage. It will also be difficult for her to face Hidari, given that the clone of her own father, which only adds great emotional value to this clash. Sarada will have to best Sasuke in a way and, in doing so, reach new levels of power. Perhaps, she can even evolve her Sharingan by taking down Sasuke and that would certainly be exciting for all fans to see.
Boruto is available to read via Viz Media. The series can be read by the fans officially and for free on the Shonen Jump and the Manga Plus app. The release date for the next chapter of Boruto, Boruto Part 2 chapter 5, is set to be December 20, 2023.
