Creative Fallout Fan Makes Their Own LEGO Power Armor Set

A gamer created a custom LEGO kit of the Fallout series’ T-51 power armor and shared the incredible project online. The exo-suit is among the most iconic pieces of gear in the entire Fallout franchise.

According to Modiphius Entertainment’s licensed tabletop game from 2021, power armor was developed by defense contractor West Tek before Fallout‘s the Great War devastated the world with nuclear fire. The technology is heralded as being the pinnacle of personal protection, and the games affirm this by providing players with a massive defense boost upon donning power armor like the T-51. One fan has built an impressive LEGO kit based on this particular suit, which was the very first to be introduced in the Fallout franchise.

In a post on the Fallout subreddit, user Valkyrie4601 shared their custom LEGO T-51 power armor. The build included several weapons and accessories, such as a fusion core, laser pistol, and jet pack. It also came with an M42 “Fat Man” launcher, one of the Fallout series’ most impractical weapons, and two types of ammunition, the Mini Nuke and Nuka-Nuke. Community members praised the LEGO T-51 power armor of Valkyrie4601, whose post has received more than 2,300 upvotes. The Reddit user said that they plan to create miniature versions of the flamer, minigun, and maybe even a melee weapon in the future.

West Tek’s T-51 has appeared in every mainline Fallout game since debuting in the series’ first entry that came out in 1997. Fallout 76 also features a variant of the T-51 that provides great customization options for players of the online RPG experience but suffers from relatively weak radiation resistance. Meanwhile, the Fallout 4 version of this power armor is a mid-range suit that is considered a good stepping stone to more powerful and advanced offerings.

As the T-51 has become a staple of the Fallout series, there is a high chance that it will be included in the franchise’s next mainline release. Bethesda Game Studios director and executive producer Todd Howard previously said that Fallout 5 would be the team’s next major project after The Elder Scrolls 6, which is expected to launch in 2026 at the earliest. Some fans have speculated that Fallout 5 could take place in California, the setting of Amazon’s well-received TV adaptation from earlier this year.

The most recent Fallout game is a free-to-play mobile experience that was released in 2019. This title, Fallout Shelter Online, is a sequel to the original Fallout Shelter that became a massive hit.
