It is worth noting you will need to buy the Phantom Liberty DLC before you can access Dogtown. After purchasing the DLC, you must start a new save or from a save point until the “Transmission” gig. Once that is taken care of, follow these steps to enter Dogtown:

  1. Accept the call from So Mi (AKA Songbird) after completing the “Transmission” gig. She will ask you to meet her at the entrance to Dogtown.
  2. Start the “Dog Eat Dog” gig and head south towards Pacifica.

  3. Reach the Dogtown entrance and turn to the right to find Songbird.
  4. Sneak your way around to find the entry point to Dogtown.
  5. Songbird will guide you through the courtyard with a few enemies, but you can sneak past or eliminate them without remorse.
  6. Reach the garage gate on the other side of the courtyard to head to the rooftop to watch the president’s plane crash into the streets.
  7. The cutscene will end with the Phantom Liberty title screen indicating you are in Dogtown.

After getting into Dogtown, you must complete a few missions before you can leave or enter the district again, like rescuing the president and finding Solomon Reed. Additionally, You can’t enter or exit Dogtown if you are wanted by the police.

While Dogtown is not a massive area, there is a lot to do. The district is littered with activities like side gigs, Militech Crates, Militech Data Terminals, and more. Rest assured, the DLC will meet and exceed your expectations at every turn. It may not be as bright and attractive as Night City, but it will certainly keep players busy with plenty of content.
