Design911, the long-standing specialists in Porsche parts and performance components, relaunched its ever-popular Porsche ‘n Pizza event, welcoming enthusiasts, collectors, automotive professionals and clients to an inclusive, fun-packed evening hosted at Hexagon Classics in London.

The event offered an opportunity to meet in a relaxed setting and celebrate the Porsche community, with prizes, display vehicles, sourdough pizzas, games and special guests, following demand from attendees to continue hosting the much-loved get-together.

Design911’s Porsche ‘n Pizza Community-Building Initiative

Having already run three successful events, Design911 decided to bring back Porsche ‘n Pizza to ensure that all interested guests, whether those relatively new to the world of Porsche, embarking on restoration projects or with years of experience as Porsche professionals, could come together to share stories and socialise.

The 4th iteration of Porsche ‘n Pizza sold out as quickly as the previous occasions, with visitors enjoying:

  • Automatic entry into a grand prize raffle, with a Porsche driving experience up for grabs
  • Access to pool tables, pizza from 67Sourdough, car-related games and a free drink on arrival
  • Chances to meet like-minded Porsche collectors and professionals
  • Free goodie bags from Design911

Running from 4 pm until 9 pm, the event was an overwhelming success, with show-stopping Porsches on display and a gathering of people with a common interest who made the event lively and exciting, as a great way to swap stories, ideas and opinions about their favourite Porsche models.

Head of Sales Strategies, Anthony Malone from Design911 said,

Thanks to everyone who showed up at Hexagon Classics, we’ve had some amazing feedback about how well the evening went, and we were delighted to bring along two of our own Porsche restoration projects to show what we’ve been up to behind the scenes!

Congratulations to the lucky winner of the Porsche driving experience, and thanks to those who arrived in their eclectic mixture of Porsches, it was brilliant to see such a range of modern supercars and elegantly restored classics side-by-side. We’ll be sure to share our plans for the next Porsche ‘n Pizza event in the near future.’

Work to Strengthen Connections Within the Porsche Community in Essex and Further Afield

While Design911 is based in Brentwood, Essex, with a second distribution centre in the Netherlands, it chose to host Porsche ‘n Pizza in London within an easier travelling distance of a larger proportion of attendees, as part of ongoing efforts to build a real sense of community.

Alongside in-person events, Design911 has long endeavoured to help restorers and enthusiasts form connections, either face-to-face or digitally, whether seeking advice on complex rebuilds, needing help sourcing unusual parts, or benefiting from inspiration on which Porsche models to consider adding to their collections.

This has included social gatherings, track days, and invitations to events and festivals, contributing to Design911’s reputation as authentic experts in both the Porsche sector and the people behind it.

The company’s Porsche People series has highlighted some of the many individuals playing important roles in protecting Porsche heritage, as well as first-time owners with passion projects, acknowledging the diversity of individuals and businesses who love all things Porsche.

Anthony adds that,

There’s nothing better than having an informal evening in great company, being able to chat about what we enjoy most, and those real-world connections between ourselves and suppliers, brands, retail clients and commercial enterprises reinforce the quality of the service we provide.’
