Season of the Wish brings Destiny 2 players back to the Dreaming City in preparation for the Final Shape expansion. Just a few days after the season’s launch, Bungie released the Warlord’s Ruin dungeon in Destiny 2 on December 1, featuring new legendary gear and an Exotic sidearm to acquire. This new dungeon received glowing praise from the player community, and some players believe Warlord’s Ruin may be one of Destiny 2’s best dungeons yet. December 5 is the first weekly reset following Season of the Wish’s launch, and Bungie implements bug fixes for the Warlord’s Ruin dungeon and other activities in Destiny 2.
Destiny 2 Players Delete Raid Boss With Reworked Exotic
Destiny 2 players can quickly defeat a raid boss with one of the game’s newly reworked Exotic armor pieces in Season of the Wish.
Alongside the update’s release, Bungie revealed patch notes for Destiny 2 update 7.3.0.1, revealing that multiple bug fixes were applied to Crucible, raids, and other activities and features within the game. Firstly, Bungie fixed some issues that were found in Crucible after the release of Destiny 2 update 7.3.0, including score errors, sound effect glitches involving crests, and a revive bug in applicable modes. The new Destiny 2 update also fixes an issue that would cause players to spawn outside the Tower Hanger, preventing them from accessing areas within the Tower itself. Moreover, Bungie fixed an issue that would cause the game to crash while inspecting certain items in the Eververse store.
Players who were unable to complete the All for One challenge in the Crota’s End raid may now do so after installing Destiny 2 update 7.3.0.1. Additionally, an issue that caused game crashes while transitioning between areas in Destiny 2 has been fixed. This uncommon issue affected some players while attempting to complete the new Warlord’s Ruin dungeon and certain raids. The Riven’s Lair activity also received fixes for bugs that prevented players from redeeming loot from the rewards chest and finishing the activity after defeating Wardweavers.
Bungie’s patch notes reveal gameplay fixes for the Monte Carlo Exotic auto rifle, Weapon Surge mods, and the Warlock’s Nova Warp Super. The Monte Carlo Method perk should now work as intended with all melee abilities in Destiny 2, granting players the chance to gain a full melee charge with kills from the Exotic auto rifle. An issue that caused Weapon Surge mod errors has been fixed, so Arc, Kinetic, or Strand Weapon Surge should synergize properly with builds going forward. A bug that caused the Warlock’s fully charged Nova Warp Super to disable moving objects has been fixed as well.
