Dying Light developer Techland has recently filed for a new trademark under the name Dying Light: The Beast, suggesting that some sort of new content could be in the works. Ever since its launch in February 2022, Dying Light 2 has received a steady stream of content and new DLC expansions for players to dive into. Its first DLC, known as Bloody Ties, was released in November 2022 and included a new story for players to unravel, as well as new weapons, locations, and more. Over on Reddit, user BlackNyarlathotep says that previous leaks indicate this new trademark is indeed for the game’s second DLC. Others agree, with user Robsonmonkey speculating that The Beast is an indication of what Crane may have turned into at the end of Dying Light: The Following.
