Elden Ring: 10 Armor Sets That Aren’t Worth Unlocking
Armor can help the player immensely in Elden Ring, but some sets just aren’t worth the hassle.
Before they move over to NG+, players should make sure they have finished some things first, like using the Clouded Mirror Stand in Roundtable Hold to design a new character or collect the desired items and armors to start the new Elden Ring journey in style.
Updated on May 18, 2024, by Nahda Nabiilah: It’s impossible to feel satisfied with completing Elden Ring only once. Some players will really enjoy the NG+ experience as it offers the same magnificent journey but with better starting equipment, which is what carried over from the previous playthrough. Tarnished who don’t enjoy collecting or fighting optional bosses for one item will definitely enjoy the NG+ experience. Just keep in mind that, since you started with a stronger build, the enemies and bosses will be stronger as well.

14 Collect All The Dragon Hearts
Killing dragons in Elden Ring rewards Tarnished with Dragon Hearts, and each dragon drops a certain number of hearts. For example, the Flying Dragon Agheel drops one heart, while the Sleeping Dragon drops five. These Key Items are used to purchase special Incantations from Dragon Communion.
Even if players don’t use any Incarnations, it’s better to buy them all, as it’s possible to play in another build in the next playthrough. People can easily use the rebirth option after fighting Rennala, the Queen of the Full Moon, and change the character’s stat.
13 Obtain All Larval Tears
Larval Tears are important Key Items that can be obtained through various methods in Elden Ring. After defeating Rennala in Raya Lucaria Academy, she’ll offer players the chance to respec in exchange for one Larval Tear per rebirth. It is highly crucial that Tarnished collect all the tears, even if they don’t plan on utilizing Rennala’s Great Rune.

Before going to NG+, Tarnished should obtain all upgrade materials available, as the stones will respawn upon beginning a new journey. Additionally, players can also collect all stones’ Bell Bearings and give them to the Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold. This way, people can have all the stones they might need if they purchase enough before starting the next playthrough.
1 Collect All Golden Seeds And Sacred Tears
According to Elden Ring’s item description, Golden Seeds are used to increase the number of Sacred Flasks, whereas Sacred Tears are used to strengthen the potency of a flask’s restorative effects. Therefore, Tarnished must collect a total of 12 Sacred Tears and 30 Golden Seeds to have 14 flasks with +12 potency, which is the maximum for both.
Luckily, there are nearly 40 Golden Seeds in each Elden Ring playthrough. Tarnished can also choose one as their Keepsake at the start of the game. All in all, it’s crucial that players collect all Golden Seeds and Sacred Tears before going to NG+.
