With a wide variety of weapons available in Elden Ring, it may take players a long time to find something they like. But for Star Wars fans, the choice is clear. Bearing an undeniable resemblance to Darth Maul’s Dual-Bladed Lightsaber, Eleonora’s Poleblade is the fantasy equivalent of the legendary weapon of the space saga, and has an equally impressive skill set. In addition to doing physical and fire damage, it also has the deadly Bloodblade Dance skill and inflicts the cumulative effect of Hemorrhage on enemies.

Since this weapon belongs to one of the Bloody Finger bosses, many players assume they must progress through the Hunter Yura quest line. Fortunately, getting Eleonora’s Poleblade in Elden Ring doesn’t require players to go down a long path.

Where To Find Eleonora’s Poleblade

Eleonora, the Violet Bloody Finger boss location on the map in Elden Ring

All players need to do to get Eleonora’s Poleblade in Elden Ring is defeat Eleonora, the Violet Bloody Finger boss. You can find this dangerous enemy in the Second Church of Marika southeast of the Shaded Castle Site of Grace. Since this boss is one of the Bloody Finger, you can reach it by progressing through the Bloody Finger Hunter Yura NPC storyline, but this is optional.

How To Beat Eleonora, Violet Bloody Finger

Eleonora, Violet Bloody Finger, will wait for any player who reaches her hideout, regardless of whether you have killed other Bloody Fingers before. Defeating this boss guarantees that Eleonora’s Poleblade will drop, but the fight is not easy. Here are some tips that may be useful:

  • It is recommended that players reach at least level 50 before visiting Eleonora. Otherwise, the battle may be too difficult.
  • Since Eleonora can use quick combos that increase the status effect Bleed, stocking up on Stanching Boluses before the fight is a good idea.
  • When the boss uses the Rotten Breath skill, attack her to prevent this attack. This attack will be preceded by the appearance of a gray dragon head, after which you should dodge and quickly deal 1–2 hits. This will not only prevent you from taking damage, but will also knock the boss down so that you can hit several strong attacks.
  • Eleonora has low resistance to Bleed, Frost Scarlet Rot, and Poison, so keep that in mind.
  • Eleonora will try to drink a potion to heal herself once her health drops below half. Attack her to stop it.

Eleonora’s Poleblade Abilities

Eleonora's Poleblade in Elden Ring

As we said earlier, defeating Eleonora guarantees you will receive Eleonora’s Poleblade. This Twinblade has excellent damage and attack speed, and the combo potential of this weapon is difficult to overestimate. Unfortunately, these weapons cannot be infused with Ashes of War, which may upset some players. However, its abilities compensate for this shortcoming:

  • This weapon deals both physical and fire damage.
  • High blood loss buildup rates make this weapon a great choice for Bleed builds.
  • The unique Bloodblade Dance skill allows players to leap at enemies with a flurry of attacks.
