Updated May 3, 2024, by Ritwik Mitra: With Amazon’s compelling Fallout TV series bringing new attention to the franchise, it’s easy to see why more and more players want to get into Fallout 4 and experience this amazing world for themselves. Among some players, the Creation Club has been justifiably criticized for trying to run with the paid mods feature under a different term. However, there’s no denying that some of the additional content does a great job of giving players more of a reason to check out this game for themselves. It helps that the next-gen update doesn’t break these official mods, even if the fiasco surrounding this patch irritates a lot of fans.

- Creator: Bethesda Game Studios
Most people have associated Dogmeat’s appearance with that of a German Shepherd. It has always been the case, and a lot of fans may consider it heresy to even think about changing his appearance. While the original idea that led to Dogmeat’s inception should be preserved, players shouldn’t be shamed for wanting Dogmeat to look a bit different.
So, there’s no harm in downloading a mod that lets players change Dogmeat’s appearance. Seeing Dogmeat as a different breed can be hard to get used to, but players who want to personalize their playthrough will be more than pleased by what this Creation Club content brings to the table.

However, there are times when this mechanic gets tiring really fast, causing players to ignore these attacks from time to time and focus on something else instead. Thankfully, there’s a piece of Creation Club content that takes care of this issue and makes settlement attacks exciting once again.
This pack lets players trigger a special ambush where the Sole Survivor must survive wave after wave of enemies if they chooses to protect their settlement. It lets players interact with a new combat scenario that encourages them to maintain high morale and ensure that the settlers have the means to take out anyone who launches an attack on a well-protected settlement.
