A Fallout 4 player online has used the game’s settlement builder to create a lair fit for a supervillain. Despite Fallout 4 releasing almost a decade ago, the game remains extremely popular thanks to incredible creations like this.

Settlement building was a huge selling point for Fallout 4, promising to give players a new way to revamp the wasteland. Nine years later, it’s safe to say that much of that promise has since been fulfilled, with plenty of incredible creations from the community over the years. One player even managed to build a palace in Fallout 4, which shows exactly what can be achieved by a player who is extremely familiar with the settlement builder tools. This supervillain lair is similar in how it shows off the sheer potential of the settlements in Fallout 4.

Strange Fallout 4 Clip Shows Mama Murphy Breakdancing

A Fallout 4 player shares a strange clip that appears to show one of the game’s older NPCs, Mama Murphy, breakdancing in a settlement.

The supervillain lair in Fallout 4 was posted to YouTube by SirBalz, who shared an entire tour of the build. The exterior is extremely impressive, with the build having been created inside an entire mountain. When asked exactly where it is, SirBalz claimed that it’s located between the Prydwen and the Castle, although the terrain is entirely hand-made, with it previously only being a body of water. This only adds to how amazing the creation is, knowing that instead of choosing one of the best settlements in Fallout 4, they created their own island from scratch. According to SirBalz, the entire build took around 20 to 30 hours to create, which is impressive given its scale.

Fallout 4 Supervillain Lair Build

The video also takes a tour through the lair’s interior, which is every bit as impressive as the exterior. It’s cluttered with tons of detail, as well as NPCs inside going about their roles within the supervillain lair. SirBalz responded to a ton of comments on the video, confirming that the build took heavy inspiration from brutalist architecture. Settlement building in Fallout 4 is not an easy task by any stretch of the imagination, so to be able to recreate real architecture like this shows real talent.

Despite the lack of concrete news regarding any future Fallout game, it’s a great time to be a fan of the franchise. The upcoming Fallout TV show is an exciting shift into a new medium, and it’ll be a test to see how its unique brand of humor holds up outside of video games. It has already been confirmed that the Fallout TV series had to cut ideas to avoid closing with Fallout 5, so there’s hope yet that plans are underway for a potential sequel in the years to come.
