Fortnite Season OG came to an end with The Big Bang event. The world was then introduced to Chapter 5 Season 1, which included a never-seen-before map with tons of freshly added mechanics and items to try out. To get players ready for the season, Epic Games added some Kickstart Quests.

How to complete

Deal damage to enemy players (1,500)

Players have tons of recently introduced weapons to try out, so they’ll have the right incentive to try and damage any enemy players that they come across. Once they get to 1,500 cumulative damage, they’ll be done with this quest.

Get on board the train (1)

There is a train going around the Chapter 5 map; gamers can board it get epic loot and engage in some early game battles. However, they’ll only have to board it to complete this quest.

Search a weapon case (1)

Weapon cases can be found all over the Battle Royale island. Gamers will be able to find them by landing near the white circles with the red symbol marked on the map.

Use a Shield Potion and a Medkit (2)

Shield Potions and Medkits have been slightly tweaked this season; players can now apply these items while walking without stopping the animation, allowing them to fully heal themselves. They should try it out while completing this quest.

Hurdle at different named locations (3)

This quest is pretty straightforward. While at it, gamers should try out the recently introduced wall jump mechanic by hurdling near climbable walls.

Travel distance in a Whiplash (1,000)

The Whiplash is the fastest vehicle in Fortnite Battle Royale. It can oftentimes be found by the side of the road or in parking lots in large POIs.

Assist in collecting a Society Medallion (1)

Players can retrieve Society Medallions by taking down bosses in Fortnite. To find them, they should head towards the medallion marker on their map. It is best to collect some shields and ammo before attempting to take down a boss.

Visit Fishing Spots (3)

Fishing Spots can be found in just about any body of water in Fortnite; gamers can fish from these spots by finding a nearby fishing rod.

Apply a weapon mod at a Mod Bench (1)

There are Mod Benches inside vaults, so gamers must get themselves a Society Medallion in order to open them up first. Players can then buy with gold and equip mods by interacting with the Mod Bench.

Complete Match Quests (5)

Daily Quests have been replaced by Match Quests in this chapter. Players will receive three Match Quests whenever they start a Fortnite match. They must complete a total of five Match Quests to complete this Kickstart Quest.

Kickstart Quest Rewards

Fortnite Leak Reveals New Gameplay Mechanics

Players will receive 15,000 XP for each Kickstart Quest they complete. These quests do not have any bonus goals, which means this is the only reward that they will get for completing them. If they complete all ten Kickstart Quests, gamers will earn a total of 150,000 XP. This is equivalent to nearly two season levels, which isn’t much but it’s a good boost right at the start of a new season.
