A Red Dead Redemption 2 fan shared their original artwork that depicts the Braithwaite Manor sequence from the game. The fan posted their art online, complete with a side-by-side comparison to help illustrate one of the most familiar locations in Red Dead Redemption 2.

The Braithwaite Manor scene from Red Dead Redemption 2 is arguably one of the more recognizable action sequences from the game. With a cinematic approach that’s amplified by Woody Jackson’s score, Rockstar Games orchestrated a scene that’s reminiscent of old Western films. To commemorate their fondness of the Braithwaite Manor sequence from the game, a fan has prepared a piece of art that depicts a particular moment from the scene.

Using only a brush with some paint on canvas, Reddit user Bobbi-Is-Bitter illustrated members of the Van der Linde gang as they approach Braithwaite Manor. The scene occurs during the Clemens Point Chapter in Red Dead Redemption 2, where the Van der Linde gang infiltrates the Braithwaite residence to rescue Jack Marston. Bobbi-Is-Bitter, whose name is signed as “Simpson” at the bottom-right corner of the art piece, positioned the scene from the game that inspired their art on a tablet above for visual reference. For now, this is the only original work of art that Bobbi-Is-Bitter has published on Reddit.

The original Red Dead Redemption 2 art piece is captioned with the artist’s disclaimer about using a brush to complete the painting and their idea to memorialize their “favourite gaming sequence.” As a result of posting the art on Reddit, as well as an openness for “honest critiques” from users, an incredible amount of comments flooded in lauding the illustrated depiction. Some comments pointed to the picturesque nature of the craftsmanship, with a couple of users noting that the painting closely resembles a filter that artists can “put over images to make them look like paintings.”

Nonetheless, Bobbi-Is-Bitter received plenty of praise for their painting in the comments, coupled with several references to the Braithwaite Manor scene. So far, they have only responded to one user in the comment section, who commended the work and the artist’s skill, with gratitude.
