Every update in the game has a beta phase that includes most of the upcoming content. The beta leaks for Genshin Impact update 5.2 have revealed a lot of information about Chasca, including her gameplay animations. The leaks have confirmed that Chasca’s kit will revolve around her unique Elemental Skill, which allows her to ride a huge gun that can deal tons of AoE damage, infused with different elemental types. A new post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has revealed more specific details about this skill, helping players better understand its power in the field. The skill allows Chasca to load her gun with different types of elemental damage depending on her teammates, who must have Pyro, Cryo, Hydro, or Electro elemental powers. Anemo, Dendro, and Geo do not convert Chasca’s bullets.

Genshin Impact: Chasca Elemental Skill Explained

Chasca’s first passive talent (A1) will grant a 33 to 100% chance to load an elemental bullet. For example, if Chasca’s party has 1 Pyro and 2 Hydro characters, there is a 67% chance the bullet will be elemental and 33% that it will deal Anemo damage. These chances increase if players acquire the first constellation for Genshin Impact‘s new Anemo user.

The character’s second passive talent (A4) will prevent Chasca from loading Anemo bullets. The bullet count will depend on the Nightsoul cooldown of the party. This means players need to be careful when pairing Chasca with other Natlan characters in Genshin Impact. The leak has provided a couple of examples of how Chasca’s A4 works.

If the party consists of 3 Pyro characters, Chasca will load a Pyro bullet. However, if the party has 2 Pyro and 1 Hydro character, there is a 50% chance that the bullets will be either Hydro or Pyro. Having three characters with different elemental powers will reduce these loading percentages to 33%. Many fans in the comment section agree that this elemental skill could make Chasca one of the most flexible supports in Genshin Impact.
