In order to solve the Body Blender Klue in season 2 of Invasion Mode, Mortal Kombat 1 players will need to finish the fight with a specific fatality.

Mortal Kombat 1 has been criticized quite a bit for its aggressive monetization, with certain skins costing as much as $10 apiece. However, there are plenty of other ways to get free cosmetic items just by playing through the game, with Invasion mode being a great example of this. Players can unlock new skins for their favorite fighters by beating powerful enemies or by finding them in chests. In the case of the latter though, there are usually a few extra steps involved.

Many chests can only be unlocked with a special key, while others require players to solve a Klue before they can get inside. The Body Blender Klue can be found in the Fire Temple Mesa of Season 2: Blood Moon and requires players to perform a particular fatality in the Sticks & Stones stage in order to unlock the path to the chest. Players can figure out which fatality they need to use simply by examining the Klue, though anyone needing a little extra help can find the solution down below.

How to Solve the Body Blender Klue in Mortal Kombat 1

In order to solve the Body Blender Klue in the Fire Temple Mesa, players will have to perform Kenshi’s Blended fatality at the end of the fight. To do so, they’ll simply need to press forward, down, down, back punch (Triangle on PlayStation, Y on Xbox, or X on Switch) while standing at close range. If done correctly, the pots blocking the player’s path to the chest will be destroyed upon their return to the overworld, allowing them to head north and claim their prize. If they mess up, they can simply try again and keep doing so until they successfully land Kenshi’s first fatality.

Body Blender Klue Rewards

Inside the chest, players will find two brand-new seasonal skins; these being Reptile’s Bloodied Claws skin and General Shao’s Venomous Vampire skin. In addition to the two skins, players will also be rewarded with a Legendary Relic and 500 Seasonal Kredits. These can be used in the seasonal store to unlock additional skins and palettes, though players should keep in mind that Seasonal Kredits will expire when Blood Moon finishes and so will need to be spent before Season 2 comes to an end.
