Gathering materials is a vital part of the Genshin Impact experience, as these can be used to upgrade equipment, ascend characters, and even cook meals that boost stats. Unfortunately, it can sometimes be a bit confusing with regard to where a player should look for a particular material and how to harvest it, as is the case with Cor Lapis.

Cor Lapis has one major use in Genshin Impact, and that is as an ascension material for both Chongyung and Keqing. Players will end up needing quite a bit of it in order to fully ascend both of these characters, so knowing where to find it and how to harvest it is very important. Keqing sits very high on the Genshin Impact character tier list, so those lucky enough to have gotten her will want to put the time and effort into ascending her. To do so, they’ll need to gather Cor Lapis in great quantities.

Updated on May 19, 2024, by Aditi Jeyanathan: Cor Lapis is a local speciality that is only found in Liyue. Mostly found in mountains and caves in the region, Genshin Impact players can also purchase these rocks from various NPCs. Like many other ores, Cor Lapis can only be broken with the help of Claymore characters or Geo characters. If players have characters like Zhongli and Ningguang, this would help aid their collection process faster. Cor Lapis is aplenty and can be easily farmed for characters like Chongyun, Keqing and Zhongli.

Genshin Impact characters require rare materials to Ascend, and any that hails from Liyue will specifically call for the region’s Local Specialties.

Cor Lapis Locations in Genshin Impact

The highest concentration of Cor Lapis is in the center of Liyue in Genshin Impact, so you can just follow these routes to collect them all. Cor Lapis respawns 48 hours after it’s harvested, so players looking for more while they wait could ask another player for the deposits in their world. Be sure to ask politely, first!. Since the local speciality is only available in Liyue, players will realize that there will be a lot of climbing to do. So it would also be beneficial to equip Anemo characters and characters which decrease stamina consumption when running and climbing.

Where To Buy Cor Lapis in Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact- Where To Buy Cor Lapis

There are three places where players can purchase Cor Lapis. Here are their locations:

  • The first is a shop in Liyue Harbour owned by Changshun. Teleport to the waypoint near the main city, and head over the bridge to find her on the left, surrounded by lanterns. You can purchase five Cor Lapis from her.
  • The second is an NPC named Fengtai in Chenyu Vale. You can find him at the General Goods Store in Yilong Wharf.
  • The third NPC to buy Cor Lapis from is located in Port Ormos in Sumeru. Her name is Qiuwei and you can find her at the market on the ground floor of the port.

All Cor Lapis Locations in Guyun Stone Forest

Genshin Impact- Guyun Stone Forest

There are around six Cor Lapis in Guyun Stone Forest and most of them are above the Domain of Guyun. Here’s how you can find them:

  • Teleport straight to the Domain of Guyun, head right towards the opening, and then take a sharp left to head up the mountain. You can spot the first one near the opening.
  • After the first one is found, if you head higher up, you will find the second and third one near two Abyss Mages.
  • After collecting the previous Cor Lapis, teleport to the Domain again and head right through the opening. You need to head to the small island north and there will be one near the beach.
  • Then, turn around and head southwest to the fifth Cor Lapis on the southwest island.
  • The final Cor Lapis in Guyun Stone Forest can be found near the second teleporter on one of the northwestern islands.

All Cor Lapis Locations in Lisha

Genshin Impact- Lisha

Lisha is the southernmost region of Liyue and has Cor Lapis scattered all around. You can find most of them near the Domain of Wayward Path, the Statue of Seven near Dunyu Ruins, and around Qingxu Pool. Since Lisha is quite mountainous, it would be best to use the Red Feather Fan Gadget to increase gliding speed.

  • First, teleport to the southernmost waypoint and glide northwest towards Qingxu Pool. There will be two Cor Lapis to collect near some Treasure Hoarders guarding the entrance to the ruins.
  • Teleport back to the same waypoint and head east to the next marker. Here you’ll find a Cor Lapis at the base of a cliff. Then keep heading west towards the small water body to find another one.
  • There will be a waypoint diagonally west from the point you are at now, so teleport there and glide to the opposite side of the cliff. A Cor Lapis should be in your sights.
  • Next, teleport to the Domain of Wayward Path and head out through the opening. You need to glide out towards the clearing and then head into the cave below you. Follow the slope down, and you’ll find multiple Cor Lapis to collect.
  • Teleport to the waypoint near the Domain and glide north down the mountain. You’ll spot a lone Cor Lapis at the bottom.
  • Then, head to the teleport waypoint in Lingju Pass and head towards the marker across the cliff. You’ll arrive at a mining area and there will be a Cor Lapis to pick up from there.
  • Lastly, the final few Cor Lapises in the area can be found near the Statue of Seven near Dunyu Ruins. After teleporting there, turn around and glide off the mountain. Stick close to the sides because it can be easy to miss this one as it’s hidden on the edge of the cliff.
  • You can then glide west towards a clearing, and you’ll find a Cor Lapis with some Crystals at the base of a rock.
  • Teleport back to the Statue of Seven and glide towards the center of Dunyu Ruins. The last Cor Lapis will be there hidden behind a rock.

All Cor Lapis Locations in the Minlin Area

Genshin Impact- Minlin Area

Minlin seems to have one of the highest concentration of Cor Lapis and you can find them in Tianqiu Valley, Luhua Pool and Cuijue Slope.

  • Start farming over at the teleport waypoint in Tianqiu Valley and head west to find the first one. Then turn around and head east through the valley. There will be Cor Lapis scattered across, so keep your eye out for them. You will have to climb some small rock formations to reach some of the Cor Lapis, but it’s not too difficult.
  • To collect the Cor Lapis furthest from the valley, use the teleport waypoint above and glide down to find the ore at the base of the cliff. You can then head east to find the rest of the remaining Cor Lapis and just follow the route along the valley.
  • Once you’re done in the valley, there will be a teleport waypoint to the right of the map and above Cujue Slope. Head there and glide through the small gap you see in front of you. You will come to a clearing and find two Cor Lapis to mine.
  • Then, head up the mountain towards your right, and glide down to find another Cor Lapis.
  • The main ruins of Cuijue Slope don’t have a lot of Cor Lapis, but you can get there by teleporting to the same waypoint and scaling the mountain behind you. You need to glide south to the area, and you’ll find the ore above.
  • After mining the previous ore, run south to find another one, then drop down the cliff towards the road that leads you to the Pyro Whopperflower boss. There will be two Cor Lapis to collect here.
  • You’ll now be entering Luhua Pool, so just run around and collect the remaining few Cor Lapises scattered about.

All Cor Lapis Locations in Bishui Plain

Genshin Impact- Bishui Plain

This area includes Qingce Village, Wuwang Hill, Dihua Marsh and Sal Terrae, all of which have Cor Lapis in the most odd places. Luckily for players, in Qingce Village, a lot of the Cor Lapis can be found on cliffs in and around the area. You can teleport to the northernmost waypoint and follow the above markers to keep track.

The Cor Lapis in Wuwang Hill is more spread out, and can be found in the following locations:

  • The first lot can be obtained near the Hidden Palace of Zhou Formula Domain.
  • The next batch will be near the teleport waypoint inside the cave which leads to the Oceanid Boss.
  • There are a few stray Cor Lapis near ruins in the area, so just teleport to the southernmost point in Wuwang Hill and head north to find them.
  • In addition to that, there are few Cor Lapis that you can also find at Stone Gate on the deck beside the water body.

Finally, Sal Terrae has a cluster of them north of the island and closer to the border of Dragonspine. Teleport to the waypoint and swim across to find an underground area which you can drop down into and explore. Keep in mind that this area is only accessible after completing Zhongli’s first story quest. Once done, you can teleport to the Statue of Seven in Dihua Marsh and head southwest to one of the landforms. You’ll spot a cave with some hilichurls, so just defeat them and collect all the ores inside.

All Cor Lapis Locations in Chasm Underground Mines

Genshin Impact- Chasm Underground Mines

Although the Chasm Underground Mines is known for the amount of Crystal Ores players can find, it doesn’t have as much Cor Lapis. Players should stick to areas like the Ad Hoc Main Tunnel, Underground Waterway and the area near Serpent’s Cave to be able to score the last of the Cor Lapis in the area.

  • The Cor Lapis in Serpent’s Cave is right before you enter the arena to fight the boss.
  • Teleport to the waypoint at the Ad Hoc Main Tunnel and head west to find a Cor Lapis at the entrance of a cave.
  • The next two Cor Lapis can be accessed after teleporting to the second waypoint in the Ad Hoc Main Tunnel area. One will be above on the scaffolding and the other below (right under the bridge).
  • The last one is in the Underground Waterway and you can only reach it if your Lumenstone is at Level 10. Teleport to the waypoint in The Chasm: Main Mining Area and drop down and glide towards the cave behind you. Keep sticking to your right until you reach the Underground Waterway. You then need to head up the slope and use the accelerated jump to reach the next area. You’ll eventually come to a clearing where you’ll spot two soldiers in the middle. The Cor Lapis will be inside a cave to your right, but if you can’t see it, then it will be locked behind the wall of Dark Mud.
