A Genshin Impact leak has revealed more information about an upcoming character named Xilonen. This character has already been teased in Genshin Impact‘s video featuring many notable playable units from the upcoming Natlan region.

According to the leak, the weapon will scale with Defense, which is not surprising since Xilonen is confirmed to be a new Geo user in Genshin Impact. The weapon will also provide a wide range of buffs to the entire team, suggesting that Xilonen could be a new five-star support character.

The fact that Foul mentioned the weapon’s release date adds credibility to previous leaks claiming that Xilonen will be released in Genshin Impact Version 5.1. The only confirmed detail about her release date is that she will not appear in the upcoming Version 5.0, as HoYoverse’s recent Special Program event confirmed that Version 5.0 will feature Mualani, Kazuha, Kinich, and Raiden Shogun as the five-star banner characters.

As for Xilonen’s kit, previous Genshin Impact leaks suggest that her Elemental Burst will allow her to enter a special state that provides buffs to the active character based on the number of Electro, Pyro, Cryo, and Hydro units on the team. This could indicate that Genshin Impact may be changing its approach to designing Geo characters.
