Genshin Impact‘s weapon variety is wide and ever-growing, bending to fit into new metas or potential team comps. Paimon’s Bargain Shop, however, has weapons that are good in almost any scenario. Weapons that can stand the test of time are far more valuable in the long-run in the event that meta changes or certain niche weapons die out. The Royal and Blackcliff lines offered by the store work well with several staple characters.

Genshin Impact has many characters who could stand to benefit from the crit damage-focused Blackcliff line and the ATK-focused Royal line. Crit Rate is also included in the Royal line’s passive ability, making them good for any DPS user in need of a bit of extra Crit Rate and ATK. Some example units who may be able to use these weapons efficiently are:

  • Xiao (Blackcliff Pole/Royal Spear)
  • Heizou (Blackcliff Agate/Royal Grimoire)
  • Kaeya (Blackcliff Slasher/Royal Longsword)

Starglitter Weapons: Are They Worth it?

blackcliff

All Royal lines have the same secondary stat and passive talent, Focus: Upon dealing damage to an opponent, increases CRIT Rate by 8%. Max 5 stacks. A CRIT hit removes all existing stacks.

Royal Bow

The maximum stat, at level 90, is 510 base attack with 41.3% extra ATK. Though there may be some better bow options for Genshin Impact bow characters depending on the specific character’s needs, it is a wonderful buff to DPS. The combat-focused stats, as opposed to support-focused, make it ideal for characters like Childe or Yoimiya if there is no better option for the player.

Royal Greatsword

Of the many Genshin Impact claymores available, the Royal Greatsword sits at fairly strong position with 565 base attack and 27.6% sub-stat ATK. The sub-stat may not be high, but its base attack is among some of the best. DPS characters that would benefit from that high attack stat would be users like Razor, Eula, or Freminet. Any claymore user in need of attack can make use of this weapon.

Royal Grimoire

With a 565 base attack and additional 27.6% ATK, it’s one of the better catalyst options available for players with an abundance of Starglitter. Genshin Impact catalyst users like Heizou, Klee, and Wanderer would benefit from the DPS the catalyst offers. Like the other weapons on the list, it isn’t ideal for support units, which quite a few catalysts are (Sucrose, Mona, Kokomi, etc.). For those, examine their kits and find other fits in their place such as the Sacrificial Fragments.

Royal Longsword

The sword of the line sits at 510 base attack and 41.3% added ATK. Genshin Impact sword users who could benefit from this would be units like Kaeya, certain Traveler builds, and Ayaka. Other units, such as Kazuha, will prefer weapons more suited to their kits. Players should keep kits in mind before they use their Starglitter on any of these weapons.

Royal Spear

This polearm sits at 565 base attack and 27.6% added on ATK in its sub-stat. Popular Genshin Impact polearm users who can benefit from this weapon include Raiden Shogun, Cyno, and Xiao if he doesn’t have enough Crit Rate in his kit. It’s a flexible weapon that can fit on many units that are in need of extra attack and Crit Rate.

All Blackcliff line weapons have the same secondary stat and passive talent, Press the Advantage; After defeating an opponent, ATK is increased by 12~24% for 30s. This effect has a maximum of 3 stacks, and the duration of each stack is independent of the others.

Blackcliff Agate

The catalyst has a base attack of 510 and a secondary stat of 55.1% Crit Damage. This weapon is one of Genshin Impact‘s Wanderer’s best weapons, making full use of the passive as a main DPS unit. His kit benefits from the Crit Damage and high base attack of the catalyst, boosting his potential in any team composition.

Blackcliff Longsword

Sitting at 565 base attack and 36.8% Crit Damage as a sub-stat, it’s a solid sword for DPS units. For Genshin Impact‘s Furina, this is a solid option. While stats like HP may be better for her overall, crit stats should not be ignored in her build. A balanced build is the key to any good unit and this weapon is a good choice for the Fontainian icon.

Blackcliff Pole

The polearm sits at 510 base attack with a 55.1% sub-stat Crit Damage. Genshin Impact‘s popular Pyro polearm user Hu Tao can benefit immensely from this weapon. Her kit needs Crit balance as a DPS, and this option is comparatively cheaper than her best-in-slot weapon, Staff of Homa.

Blackcliff Slasher

The claymore comes in at 510 base attack with a 55.1% sub-stat Crit Damage. Another good option for Genshin Impact‘s Eula, the weapon boosts her Crit Damage which is immensely important as a main DPS character. Her better suited weapons cost more than this weapon, but could be good upgrades later. Even if players replace this weapon on Eula, it’s good for other units like Razor or Xinyan and Itto if players don’t have Whiteblind.

Blackcliff Warbow

The bow comes in strong with 565 base attack and 36.8% additional Crit Damage. Strong units like Genshin Impact‘s Lyney benefit from its DPS stats. His kit needs the typical DPS stats such as attack and Crit Rate and Damage, and this bow can give him quite the significant buff to said stats. Even if a player is not lucky in their artifact rolls, the weapon can handle much of his needs without worry.
