Grand Theft Auto Online players with a GTA+ subscription will soon be able to play Rockstar’s 1940s detective action-adventure title LA Noire. Along with access to LA Noire, subscribers will also unlock two classic cars from that game to use in Grand Theft Auto Online.

LA Noire was released in 2011, but despite its age, it remains one of the highest-rated Rockstar games on Steam. Though it bears some similarities to Grand Theft Auto 3 and more recent games in the Grand Theft Auto series with its presentation and control of the player character and vehicles, its aesthetic is rooted in the criminal underbelly of post-World War 2 Los Angeles. In trying to solve murders, arson, and other crimes, the player participates in interrogation sequences in which they have to determine whether a character is lying to them based on tells like facial reactions.

Why Rockstar Taking it Slow With GTA Online in Grand Theft Auto 6 May Be The Right Move

GTA Online has grown to become one of the biggest online games around, but GTA 6’s version of the mode should avoid getting ahead of itself.

Announced on the Rockstar Games website, LA Noire will become available for GTA+ subscribers to play at no additional cost beginning on May 2, joining some of the best games from Rockstar already being offered to subscribers. The list of games currently available includes the Definitive Edition of the early 2000s Grand Theft Auto trilogy (Grand Theft Auto 3, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas), as well as Red Dead Redemption and two mobile games: Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.

More Bonuses For GTA+ Subscribers

In addition to accessing LA Noire, subscribers will also be receiving GTA+ subscription benefits in the form of the Classique Broadway (Muscle) and the Albany Roosevelt (Sports Classic) cars for use in Grand Theft Auto Online. This is in addition to the regular monthly rewards for subscribers, which include a current promotion in which they will receive a bonus $1 million of in-game GTA Online currency every month through August 2024, in addition to the regular $500,000 that subscribers usually get.

Subscriptions to GTA+ are currently available on both PlayStation and Xbox consoles. A one-month subscription to GTA+ is currently priced at $7.99 on either platform following a recent price hike of $2 monthly. Additionally, anyone wanting to access the bonuses for Grand Theft Auto Online will need to have access to a copy of that game as well, and while it can be purchased as a standalone game, it already comes packaged with each purchase of Grand Theft Auto 5.
