Super Uranium, commonly referred to as pink samples, is the rarest of all three types of samples in Helldivers 2. They are needed to unlock the most expensive and best Ship Modules in the game for massive upgrades and bonus effects.
Compared to the common (green) and rare (orange) samples, the rarer (pink) samples are the hardest to find in Helldivers 2. They only appear in a single location, which requires a bit of luck on your part. Encountering Super Uranium during missions is not as easy as farming the other samples in the game.

Where to Find Pink Super Samples in Helldivers 2?
Super Uranium samples can only be found in level 7 difficulty missions or higher on all Terminid and Automaton planets. They are guaranteed to spawn around a unique point of interest that will not appear on the map. Unlike the green and orange samples, you will not find pink samples by just completing missions or clearing nests and factories in Helldivers 2.
What you need to do is explore the map to find a large trophy or egg-shaped rock formation as shown in the image below. There will always be two or three pink samples around this unique structure for Helldivers 2 players to loot.
Something important to note here is that these hive-like structures can also be found on lower-difficulty missions. However, they will not have any Super Uranium samples. Furthermore, each high-level mission will always have only one of these rocks. So, if you want to farm pink samples in Helldivers 2, the best way would be to split up to have all four players in a squad exploring the four corners of the map.
Tips to Help You Find the Super Uranium Rock
- Completing the radar tower will show the Super Uranium location as a point of interest on the map. However, not all missions will have that secondary objective.
- Search the outskirts or far-flung areas of the map. The rock with the pink samples seldom spawns near the main objectives or enemy bases.
- Play missions that take place during the day in clear weather. Nighttime, rain, and fog will lower visibility and make it harder to spot the rock formation from afar.

When you do manage to get hold of some pink samples, protect them with your life. They are incredibly rare, so make sure to extract with them. If you die and drop all of your samples, aim to pick them up again. If you have done your main objective, ignore the optional objectives to farm more Medals and extract.
