Spoilers ahead for Honkai: Star Rail’s story
A Honkai: Star Rail fan discovered a hidden Morse code in Robin’s latest trailer. The upcoming 5-star Physical Preservation character will soon become playable with the release of Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.2.
Robin first appeared in Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.0, when she and her older brother Sunday welcomed the Astral Express Crew to Penacony. She is a famous singer who’s performed on different planets across the cosmos, and is scheduled to perform in Penacony’s Charmony Festival. However, the festivities become dark when Robin is found murdered in the Dreamscape at the end of Version 2.0’s story.

The latest Honkai: Star Rail leak reveals details about a PvP event that will allegedly be released in the version 2.3 update.
There are still many mysteries left unsolved in Honkai: Star Rail‘s Penacony arc, and one of them is whether Robin’s alive or not. Many Honkai: Star Rail fans believe she’s in trouble after watching Robin’s music video-style trailer titled “Sway To My Beat,” which showed glimpses of dark entities and the singer being trapped in a cage. One fan, aetheronarson2, also claimed they heard faint beeping in the trailer, which could be Morse code translating to “SOS,” or a call for help.
Where is the Morse Code in Honkai: Star Rail’s Robin Trailer?
The Honkai: Star Rail fan explained that they heard the Morse code beeps around the 1:46 to 1:49 mark of the video, before Robin hits her crescendo, and deciphered that it spelled “SOS.” Other fans also picked up on this after multiple repeats of the video, which made them more worried about Robin’s situation. Meanwhile, some fans also said that they couldn’t hear any beeping, but still shared the same sentiments after seeing the sad imagery in the trailer. HoYoverse hasn’t acknowledged the bpotential Morse code, so take the information with a grain of salt.
Upon multiple listens at .50 and .75 playback speeds, an out-of-place beeping sound can be heard at the above-mentioned timestamp, but it’s difficult to determine if it’s Morse code.
This brought up a number of theories about Robin’s story in Honkai: Star Rail, like the possibility of her feeling trapped and being controlled by Sunday. Many fans also pointed this out in a Reddit post as they noticed that Sunday seemed to be watching and dictating Robin’s every move. If the “SOS” Morse code was indeed hidden in Robin’s trailer, it might just be hinting at something dark that’s going to be revealed in the main story.
Apart from the release of Robin, Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.2 will also debut 5-star character Boothill, and introduce new limited-time events, items, and more. The update might also be the end of the Penacony arc, and many fans are excited to see how it will go down.
