House Flipper 2: How to Use Wiring

When designing the interior of your building in House Flipper 2, you’ll surely need to play around with lighting, which can be a real puzzle for some players. Luckily, it can be easy and even fun if you learn how to use the Wiring tool. With this tool, you can quickly connect a light source to a switch or even group multiple lights, so follow our guide below to learn how to use Wiring in House Flipper 2.

How to Use Wiring in House Flipper 2

Here’s all you need to do to connect a light source and a light switch using the Wiring tool:

• Go to the light switch and click Select Group. This action is usually set to the left mouse button. You will see a green bar appear in front of you, which will identify the direction where you are wiring.
• After that, go to the light source you want to connect and click the left mouse button again.

You can also connect multiple light sources to a single switch, and there are several ways to do this:

• You can create a group of different light sources by connecting the switch to several lamps one by one.
• You can also create a light group using the chain method. First, you connect the first lamp with a switch, then you wire it to the next lamp, and so on.

If you have already created a group of light sources but have forgotten what exactly is connected to the switch, you can easily check it. Just hover the cursor over the switch, and you’ll see all its connections. And you can do the same with a lamp to find out which switch it is connected to. This can be useful when you want to disconnect a light from a group but you’re not sure which switch it’s connected to.

If you would like to remove a light from the group or disconnect it from the switch, go to the lamp and interact with it by selecting the Remove item from the group option, which is configured by default to the Q button. And if you still find the Wiring confusing and unnecessary, you can still just walk up to the lamp and turn it on or off individually. If Wiring is not yet available to you, you can unlock it by completing the “Adding a cafe to my bookshop” quest.

House Flipper 2 is now available on PC and is planned for release on PlayStation and Xbox consoles on March 21, 2024.
