Cursed Energy is the primary power source in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. This power is fueled by negative emotions such as grief, sadness, pain, or anger. Since all humans have experienced this at some point in their lives, everyone in Jujutsu Kaisen has the power of Cursed Energy.

However, not everyone is able to bring it forth and use it in combat effectively. There are some characters who have astounding amounts of Cursed Energy within themselves, however, only a few can stand at the top as ones with immeasurable levels of it. That said, it must be noted that having higher levels of Cursed Energy does not automatically make one stronger.

While there are those who have excelled without even possessing any curse energy, the vast majority need this power to make a name for themselves. While vast energy reserves don’t necessarily mean that this user is stronger, the more cursed energy one has, the better equipped they are to continue fighting, especially against the top tiers of the world. While this list already goes over some of the users with the highest amount of cursed energy in JJK, there are others who deserve to be added to the list and, with that, this list has now been updated.

15 Kokichi Muta

Cursed Technique: Puppet Manipulation

Kokichi Muta is a character that fans were introduced to in the very first season of Jujutsu Kaisen. This character possesses a very frail body, however, through a Heavenly Restriction, he received immeasurable levels of Cursed Energy instead.

His Cursed Energy could be felt all over Japan and that in itself is an indication that he possesses tremendous amounts of it. He could easily possess enough cursed energy to match the output of the Special Grades.

14 Jogo

Cursed Technique: Disaster Flames

Jogo is a special grade curse that fans saw in the initial arcs of Jujutsu Kaisen. The character was incredibly dangerous and possessed tremendously powerful pyrokinetic abilities. Jogo even had access to Domain Expansion, called Coffin of the Iron Mountain, which fans witnessed in the first season of the show.

Even for a Special Grade, he possessed a tremendous amount of cursed energy and it was said to be equal to around nine of Sukuna’s fingers.

13 Suguru Geto

Cursed Technique: Cursed Spirit Manipulation

Fans know Suguru to be an exceptional user of cursed energy. Furthermore, his understanding of cursed energy is also incredibly unique. He can control thousands of curses at the same time and even imbue his energy in weapons, as fans have seen on previous occasions during his clash against the many characters he fought, such as Yuta.

Suguru might not possess as much cursed energy as Satoru, however, he is still an immense user of this power and one that is to be feared.

12 Mahito

Cursed Technique: Idle Transfiguration

Mahito is a Special Grade Curse and among the strongest characters seen in Jujutsu Kaisen. Mahito was born out of humans’ hatred for each other, or so he believes, and as a Special Grade curse, he is exceptional. Mahito possesses incredibly high reserves of Cursed Energy, at least more than three of Sukuna’s fingers.

Even Nanami knew that fighting until his Cursed Energy ran out was not an ideal option. Mahito used his cursed energy in various ways to alter the souls and, therefore, the bodies of his targets.

11 Kenjaku

Cursed Technique: Brain Hopping

Kenjaku is an ancient sorcerer who has continued to live for around a thousand years. His understanding of Cursed Energy and all things related to it is immense and his knowledge is quite likely the greatest in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen.

Kenjaku possesses immense cursed energy levels and fans have seen him manifest these powers on quite a few occasions. It is through these powers that he has come to be as feared as he is right now.

10 Ryu Ishigori

Cursed Technique: Cursed Energy Discharge

A Sorcerer from 400 years ago brought forth by Kenjaku, Ryu Ishigori is a character with an immense amount of cursed energy. In fact, he is outright said to have possessed more cursed energy than the vast majority of the sorcerers seen in the story.

What’s more, his output of Cursed Energy is the most that Kenjaku has ever recorded. Ryu Ishigori is certainly among the characters with the highest amount of cursed energy in Jujutsu Kaisen.

9 Dagon

Cursed Technique: Disaster Tides

Dagon was one of the Disaster Curses who fans saw quite a lot during the events of Shibuya and prior to them as well. He fully evolved during the Shibuya Incident arc, where his strength was put on display by the author. He was strong enough to take on a team of Maki, Megumi, Nanami, and Naobito at once and that just goes to show how strong he was.

Even against the Sorcerers, he was the dominant one in the battle and much of that was down to the immense amount of cursed energy that he possessed. He could even use his Domain Expansion and utilize incredible amounts of powerful marine-based techniques there. When compared to even regular Special Grades, he was in a league of his own.

8 Hanami

Cursed Technique: Disaster Plants

Another one of the Disaster Curses, Hanami possessed incredible amounts of curse energy as well. Hanami was first seen when they attacked the Tokyo Goodwill Event and decided to fight against multiple sorcerers. They were able to completely overwhelm the group of students and, eventually, Yuji and Todo stood in their path. Even against these two powerful sorcerers, Hanami barely flinched. In fact, they were growing in terms of strength as this fight continued since they were gaining battle experience.

When it comes to cursed energy, theirs was almost bottomless and much greater than both Yuji and Todo combined. While their cursed energy reserves weren’t as great as that of Jogo, they were still very impressive.

7 Hajime Kashimo

Cursed Technique: Genju Kohaku

Hajime Kashimo has quite a lot of curse energy as well. For a sorcerer who was feared all over the world 400 years ago, this is something that fans would expect. Kashimo was strong enough to provide a proper fight to Kinji Hakari without even utilizing his cursed technique.

In the fight against Sukuna, he relied on his cursed technique, Genju Kohaku, and this technique was strong enough to push Sukuna into his reincarnated form. When it comes to Cursed Energy, he certainly does not have the most or even comparable to the top tiers, however, it is still much much greater than that of an average sorcerer.

6 Yuki Tsukumo

Cursed Technique: Star Rage

Yuki Tsukumo is one of the only four special grade sorcerers that fans have seen in JJK so far. The fact that she made it to Special Grade in itself is proof that she possesses incredible amounts of cursed energy. Yuki was able to fight against someone like Kenjaku and dominate him, which is a testament to her strength. In fact, to win against Yuki, the author had to make Kenjaku use some very questionable means which can almost be attributed to very convenient writing.

In terms of strength, Yuki could only be bested by a handful of fighters such as the likes of Gojo and Sukuna. When it comes to cursed energy, she had tremendous amounts up her sleeve which could not be matched by many. It is sad that she did not get to play a bigger part in the story and, if she had, fans would have a better idea of how strong she was because she did not even get a chance to utilize her Domain Expansion.

5 Kinji Hakari

Cursed Technique: Private Pure Love Train

Kinji Hakari is a character with one of the most incredible abilities in JJK, and when it comes to cursed energy, he potentially has the most. This is down to his cursed technique which he utilizes primarily through his domain expansion, Idle Death Gamble. Essentially, this pachinko-themed Domain Expansion gives him the opportunity to luck out and, if he does, he gains infinite cursed energy for 4 minutes and 11 seconds.

At the same time, any damage he sustains during this time also gets healed automatically. What’s more, since this refills his cursed energy, he can then utilize his Domain Expansion again and luck out once again, this time, with even better odds. Essentially, he can’t become someone with infinite cursed energy as long as he keeps lucking out and, more often than not, he always does.

4 Satoru Gojo

Cursed Technique: Limitless

Satoru Gojo is one of the most beloved characters in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen and also the strongest of all time, only being rivaled by Sukuna. Satoru possesses an immense amount of cursed energy, likely to be among the highest seen in the entire series.

Furthermore, he is also equipped with Six Eyes and this allows him to use his Cursed Energy even more efficiently, making it seem as if he has infinite amounts of it. He is exceptionally powerful and has great reserves of cursed energy, which only adds to his strengths.

3 Yuta Okkotsu

Yuta is a character with tremendous amounts of Cursed Energy within himself and much of it is down to Rika. Thanks to their connection, Yuta was able to access her Cursed Energy in full and even replenish his own at an impossibly fast rate.

Even after the spirit of Rika passed, Yuta carries the cursed energy within himself. His level of cursed energy has previously been called bottomless and it is believed to be far greater than that of Satoru Gojo.

2 Rika

Cursed Technique: N/A

Rika is a powerful curse that was created by none other than Yuta. Her powers are so immense that Suguru christened her to be the Queen of Curses. Rika possesses nearly infinite amounts of cursed energy, enough to overwhelm anyone in the entire series.

Her powers are nigh unstoppable and even the strongest in the entire history would have trouble dealing with the massive amounts of cursed energy she possesses.

1 Sukuna

Cursed Technique: Unknown

The King of Curses, Sukuna is the strongest of his own era and is still feared in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. As a sorcerer, Sukuna is the complete package, capable of rivaling even Satoru Gojo. However, when it comes to cursed energy, he far surpasses even Satoru Gojo.

In fact, Sukuna possesses far more cursed energy than even Yuta, who himself is confirmed to have more cursed energy than Gojo. According to Yuta, Sukuna has at least twice or more times as much Cursed Energy as him, and this is just another one of the many reasons why he is believed to be the King of Curses.
