Like a Dragon Gaiden continues a longstanding tradition of the Yakuza series by offering a diverse range of activities beyond the main storyline. With a completion percentage to track and achievements to earn, the game caters to players who strive for 100% completion.
Like a Dragon Gaiden introduces new elements that encourage players to engage in these various tasks that complement the main plot. The game’s protagonist, Joryu, meets the informative Akame in Sotenbori, who utilizes her connections, including those with the homeless, to gather citywide information.
Always eager to help every random stranger he ever meets, Joryu quickly accepts his own role within the Akame Network. This unlocks a series of missions that vary from simple errands to photographing key landmarks in Sotenbori. Completing these missions rewards Network Points, which improve Akame’s network level, leading to more missions and unlocking additional rewards.
Players who are not well-acquainted with Sotenbori’s layout needn’t worry; here’s where to find Club Four Shine and complete the mission “Never Forget Four Shine” in Like a Dragon Gaiden.
How to Start the “Never Forget Four Shine” Mission
The mission “Never Forget Four Shine” is one of Like a Dragon Gaiden’s “Stroll n’ Patrol” missions. These missions gradually unlock as the player increases the Network’s level and can be found scattered around the city, indicated by a white exclamation point or, in some cases, a fist icon indicating an impending brawl.
To initiate the “Never Forget Four Shine” mission, players need to travel to the upper left section of Sotenbori’s map. Look for an elderly woman standing by a building near the Kinryu Ramen shop, which is easy to locate by its yellow restaurant symbol on the map.
Where to Find and Photograph Club Four Shine
Yakuza series veterans should be no stranger to the iconic Club Four Shine, which made its first appearance in Yakuza Kiwami 2 when Kazuma Kiryu himself helped take on its operation. The spunky little club seems to have been doing well for itself even after over 13 years of operation, and it hasn’t moved from its slightly hard-to-find location in all this time.
To reach Club Four Shine, head to the bottom right corner of Sotenbori’s map and walk down the road directly west of Ashitaka Park. The very first open area indicated on the city map is a staircase that leads from the street level up to the entrance of Four Shine. Regrettably, entry into Four Shine for a cabaret club experience, or to check for the presence of a certain gold statue, is not possible in Like a Dragon Gaiden.
Once at this location, the player can take a photo of Four Shine from the foot of the stairs or get a closer shot by first ascending the steps. Have Joryu pull out his phone’s camera by pressing the up arrow on the D-pad or by pressing the C key if playing with mouse and keyboard and capture a shot of Four Shine’s exterior.
Head back to the lady who made the request, who thanks Joryu and shares some tidbits of information that will likely resonate with fans of the series. Completing the mission “Never Forget Four Shine” in Like a Dragon Gaiden awards the player Network Points and ¥25,000.
