Crafting Materials in Manor Lords are processed raw materials used to create clothing, food items, and military equipment. Players will always want to have as many of these materials as possible in their Storehouse and Granary to always be ready for anything.
While all crafting materials can be imported, building the infrastructure to make them in player-owned settlements is always the preferred stocking method. Imports cost a lot of money, and while Crafting Material imports don’t require a Major Trade Route, they can quickly drain the economy and spell financial doom for a campaign if left unchecked.

How to Use Crafting Materials in Manor Lords
Crafting Materials are primarily used for creating either a commodity to be sold or a piece of Military equipment to equip to a player’s army. Exporting these materials is not worth it in most circumstances, as processing them into refined final products drastically increases the value and allows exports to profit instead of breaking even.
