Pixie is an early-season Spotlight Cache entry in Marvel Snap’s Avengers Vs. X-Men Season. She is a two-Cost one-Power On Reveal with the ability to shuffle the Costs of cards in your deck. Her effect only applies to cards that have been there from the get-go, meaning shuffled cards like Rocks and Infinity Stones won’t trigger her effect. In this guide, you learn how to exploit this ability to create the optimal deck for Pixie—and squeeze out consistent wins despite her RNG.
Marvel Snap: The Best Corvus Glaive Deck
Corvus Glaive is a perfect fit for ramp and discard decks, but he thrives in a hybrid setup with Electro and Hela.
The Best Deck for Pixie
As a randomizer, Pixie works best in a low-risk lineup with Mobius & Magneto. You can replicate this setup by combining this trio (Pixie, Mobius, Magneto) with Magik, Sera, Sunspot, Yellowjacket, Wasp, Quicksilver, Jane Foster, Hope Summers, and The Infinaut.

Pixie’s Deck Synergies:
- Pixie shuffles the Cost of cards in the deck.
- Yellowjacket and Wasp serve as feeders. (You want Pixie to give their Cost to bigger drops.)
- Quicksilver is there to increase the odds of keeping Yellowjacket and Wasp in the deck.
- Sera discounts your cards.
- Hope Summers gives you extra Energy to drop bigger cards faster.
- Magik extends the game so you can distribute enough Power.
- Mobius protects you against Pixie’s friendly damage. (Mobius nullifies the effect when she increases a card’s Cost.)
- Sunspot benefits from unspent Energies.
- Jane Foster draws any zero-Cost card created by Pixie.
- Magneto and The Infinaut are win conditions.
How to Play Pixie
Fill your deck with more cheap options than big cards. This way, Pixie has a higher chance of swapping low-Cost options with high-Cost ones. Also, make sure to Snap the next turn after playing her because she is a bluff card. Doing so will make your opponent assume she’s given you big cheap cards and retreat.
How to Counter Pixie
Pixie is an On Reveal card that can be stopped with Cosmo. However, realistically speaking, you will rarely be able to hit her with Cosmo—because your opponent will often drop her before you have enough Energy to react. So, the next best counter is Mobius M. Mobius. He will stop your enemy’s cards from getting discounts, bringing their Costs to their base forms.
The Best-case Scenario for Pixie:
If you have a combination of zero-Cost and six-Cost cards in your deck, one ideal scenario for Pixie is to swap their Costs. This way, you get free win conditions at the cost of losing dismissible drops. For example, she might give Yellowjacket’s Cost to The Infinaut, leaving you with a zero-Cost twenty-Power beast!
Is Pixie Worth It?
Pixie is a skippable bluff card. Her Mister Negative-inspired ability won’t be essential in any of your decks. However, she spices up the metagame with RNG-based synergies. If you are determined to get Pixie, just note that she’s a Joker card: You can’t count on her as a win condition.
In a season where cards like Hope Summers are entering the META, Pixie remains an entertaining option for players looking for extra adrenaline.
