A new update for Medieval Dynasty will add the co-op mode for current-gen consoles and Epic Games Store users on June 27. So far, the co-op mode has only been available on Steam, but it will finally arrive for all other platforms except GOG. Besides the co-op mode, this update will also introduce the new Oxbow Map and character creator for all versions of Medieval Dynasty. The Oxbow Map and character creator will also be available on GOG, but the map won’t feature multiplayer functionality for now.

Earlier this year, Toplitz Productions, the publisher of Medieval Dynasty, announced the co-op mode on PC. Up to four players could join a session to enjoy the medieval simulation game and explore the newly added Oxbow Map. While the Valley is the classic map essential for teaching the game’s systems and introducing story-driven quests, the Oxbow map is more vibrant, with many more locations for buildings and livelier NPCs. The biggest differences between the two maps are that Valley is single-player only and has building limits through quests, while Oxbow allows multiplayer and has building limits fully unlocked from the start.

Medieval Dynasty: Best Items To Sell

In Medieval Dynasty, selling the right items could net players a lot of profit over the long run. These are some great examples.

On June 27, Medieval Dynasty players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Epic Games Store will be able to embark on their medieval adventures with up to four party members. The update will also introduce cross-platform play, a feature that allows players on consoles or PC to start their Medieval Dynasty adventure with friends, regardless of their platform. The character creator will also be available on the same date for current-gen consoles, offering players the opportunity to craft their own unique avatars, including the option for a female character.

Medieval Dynasty to Add Co-Op Mode on More Platforms

Adding the co-op mode on Steam was a success for Medieval Dynasty and brought a whole new player experience, according to Matthias Wunsche, CEO of Toplitz Productions. With the arrival of this mode on current-gen consoles, Wunsche hopes to strengthen the Medieval Dynasty brand further while allowing players’ camaraderie to be explored in this medieval simulator with solid real-life inspirations.

Medieval Dynasty‘s developer, Render Cube, said it is already working hard to release new updates to the game. The next one will be called the Armors, Crests, and Shields update and is set to be released later in 2024, while another mysterious one will arrive by 2025. Medieval Dynasty entered early access on Steam in 2020 and launched version 1.0 in 2021, and since then, it has received constant patches and updates. Render Cube hopes to keep supporting Medieval Dynasty for years to come.
