How To Get The Deed In Metaphor: ReFantazio
After reaching Port Brilehaven, players must progress through the story until they are able to explore the Port freely. Brilehaven has many bounties and quests in Metaphor: Refantazio, including the “Deeds and Diversions” side quest. This quest starts outside the Nightprowler, where players can find an Overfamiliar Man.
What seems to be the case is that a loan lender, who is also a noble, took a deed from the Overfamiliar Man, and he requested that the player get it back. For players confused, this guide includes information on the requirements and the correct dialogue options needed to get the Deed in Metaphor: ReFantazio.
There is no deadline for this side quest, so players can focus on other time-related quests and come back to this later.

Completing The Superior Scrimshaw Quest
After accepting the Deeds and Diversion quest, players must ignore the noble for now, as he won’t give the Deed before they venture into the Forsaken Tower. Head to Merchant’s Bazaar to find the Craftsman who gives you the Superior Scrimshaw quest. You must slay Orgas in Forsaken Tower to complete this quest and return the Ebony Horn to the Craftsman. The Forsaken Tower will not appear on the map, so you must go to The Greatest Catch tavern and buy the information from the Informant.
Go to the Gaunlet Runner and chart a course for the Tower. The dungeon is relatively small, with multiple floors and a boss at the top. Orgas is weak to Dark attacks, so Archetypes of the Thief lineage are very good for this fight.
After defeating Orgas and returning to the Town, you must go to The Varmareno Coliseum north of Arenafront Wharf. Here, you will find the Pompous Noble, who should have the Deed. In the following conversation, you will have several dialogue options, and selecting the correct ones will give you the Deed. Here is what you must choose:
1st Choice:
- About my loan…
- Hey, look what I can do!
- You know me, I trust? (Choose this)
2nd Choice:
- So about this Deed…
- Such a tawdry arena, this. (Choose this)
3rd Choice:
- I prefer real fights. (Choose this)
- I’ve seen greater wonders.
4th Choice:
- Let’s see, uh…
- Ever tasted a giant sandworm?
- You know the Forsaken Tower? (Choose this)
5th Choice:
- Cash
- I’d like the Deed. (Choose this)
With this, you will acquire the Deed to give back to the Overfamiliar Man and complete the quest to reward you with a Chef’s Toque and 10,000 Reeve. You can use the money to stock up on curative items.
