The Edge of Glory side quest is given to players by the Ornamented Man on Sunshade Row in the Grand Trad. Players can access the quest after progressing through the story until date 09/26 in Metaphor: ReFantazio.

He’ll talk about a place that’s some distance from Altabury called Mt. Vulkano. You’ll need to find War King’s Legendary Greatsword there and return it to the Ornamented Man to complete this side quest.

After accepting the quest, Mt. Vulkano will be unlocked on the map, so players must head there on the Gauntlet Runner.

Turn 180 degrees and keep heading forward while passing through the lion-like enemies until you see a narrow cave opening to the left. Go through it and climb up the ladder inside.
Once on top, look behind you to see a small opening to crawl through on the ledge.
After crawling through the opening, head left past two pits and narrowly get around the third pit which leads you into a room with a ladder.
After going up that ladder and two others, keep heading forward into the cavers and turn right from the pit.
After heading further into the caves, you’ll find a chest on the left which will give you the Rusty Greatsword item.

Now all you need to do is return to the Ornamented Man on Sunshade Row and talk to him to turn in the quest. Players will get the Legendary Greatsword, +4 Wisdom, and 45,000 reeve as a reward for completing the Edge of Glory side quest in Metaphor: ReFantazio.
