When it comes to relaxing in front of the screen, some of the most feel-good anime tend to fall under the categories of comedy, romance, and slice of life. These often have less fan service and conflict appears in the form of everyday issues or comedic misunderstandings.

Pseudo Harem – By far the season’s most wholesome anime, Pseudo Harem is just an adorable romcom about two characters who are just awkwardly cute together. After hearing that her senpai, Eiji, would love to have a harem, Rin uses her acting talent to fulfill that wish, transforming into different personas at the drop of a pin. Unsurprisingly, Rin has an actual crush on Eiji, although she hides her interest through her characters. Romantic subtext aside, Pseudo Harem is primarily a slice of life that follows these two through their daily banter.
The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies – Except for some fanservice that often feels out of place, this magical girl anime is generally a tension-free delight. As suggested by the title, two supposed enemies begin to essentially date, which involves a lot of sweets. The magical girl in question, Mimori, can come across as an airhead at times, but she is very likable. Meanwhile, the villain, Mira, constantly finds himself overwhelmed by his love for the magical girl. It is all good fun.

Each member of the Nakano family that Futaro tutors comes with their own set of quirks and personalities. Lloyd is a secret agent called Twilight who works for Westalis and has to form a family to maintain his secret identity. This leads to a hilarious chain of events as he decides to become a father to Anya, who is a telepath.

To make things even more entertaining, Twilight also decides to get a fake wife called Yor Briar… who is an assassin. Then the women and Kuranosuke must work together to try to save their housing district from being torn down.
