The Transformations Quirk is not just a category of quirk that allows its users to transform into something other than themselves. It is actually akin to a combination of Mutant Quirk and Emitter Quirk. After all, the powers of Transformation Quirks are based on the body of its users, just like Mutant Quirks. But there is also a wide variety of powers within this quirk category.

My Hero Academia: 10 Worst Quirks, Ranked

These are some of the worst quirks that ever graced the world of My Hero Academia.

With that in mind, the following examples are some of the strongest Transformation Quirks in the series. Keep in mind that this list is based on the Pro-Heroes and the villains’ official rank, and also the danger level and the versatility of their power. Furthermore, deceased characters and those who have multiple quirks (All-For-One, Gigantomachia) are exempt from this topic.

10 Meatball

Manipulate Human Flesh

Seiji Shishikura sends his limbs off to use his quirk.

Seiji Shishikura, better known by his hero name Shishikross, is a second-year student from Shiketsu High School. His quirk, Meatball, allows him to manipulate his own flesh. Not only that, but he can also turn anybody who touched his flesh into a blob of meat, unable to do anything until Shishikross returns them to normal.

Some might argue that third-year Lemillion and his Permeation quirk is better. However, Permeation works best for defense and infiltration purposes. In that regard, Shishikross’s Meatball is a much more dangerous and versatile quirk. Given time, he will surely be a force to be reckoned with. That’s why even though he is still a second-year student, Shishikross deserves a spot here.

9 Muscle Augmentation

Enhanced Muscle Strength To Superhuman Level

My Hero Academia - Muscular Winding Up A Big Punch-1

Goto Imasuji, also known as Muscular, is the first villain mentioned so far, but he is also the most barbaric and bloodthirsty person here. He is an A-Rank villain and part of the Vanguard Action Squad of the League of Villains.

Muscular’s quirk is Muscle Augmentation, and as the name suggests, it gives him the ability to produce layers upon layers of muscle fibers that will cover up his whole body. This muscle not only significantly increases his strength, but it also acts as an armor against physical attacks. A single punch from Muscular can easily send an enemy flying.

8 Manifest

Manifests Animal Parts In Different Parts Of His Body

My Hero Academia Tamaki Capturing A Villain With His Tentacles

Tamaki Amajiki, better known by his hero name Suneater, is a third-year student at U.A. High School. Along with Mirio and Nejire, they are known as the Big 3 of the U.A. High. Suneater is currently working under Fat Gum and is on track to be his sidekick once he graduates.

My Hero Academia’s Heroes have some pretty unique and interesting quirks. These are the strongest of them all.

Suneater’s quirk is called Manifest. This ability allows him to manifest any parts of the animal that he has consumed that day. For example, if he eats fried chicken, clams, and takoyaki, he will be able to transform his feet into talons, his arms into giant tentacles, and his hands into a super-hard clam shell. Because of this, Manifest is easily one of the most versatile Transformation Quirks.

7 Fat Absorption

Absorbs Anything Into His Thick Layers Of Fat

A Villain stuck in Fat Gum's Quirk in My Hero Academia

Taishiro Toyomitsu, also known as the Fat Gum, is a pro-hero who currently holds the rank No. 58 in Japan. Unlike big-name heroes like All Might or Endeavor who handle national-level emergencies, Fat Gum focuses on keeping the neighborhood safe from any kind of criminals. To that end, he always goes on a patrol every day with his sidekicks.

Fat Gum’s quirk is called Fat Absorption. Every food that Fat Gum consumes will be stored as massive layers of fat that cover his entire body, particularly around his torso. These layers of fat will absorb any kind of physical damage. It can even absorb an entire person when necessary. For an extra attack boost, Fat Gum can actually release those absorbed impacts all at once to knock out any nearby enemies.

6 Gigantification

Turns Into A Giant

Yu Takeyama, more commonly known as Mt. Lady, is a pro hero ranked No. 23 in Japan. Together with Kamui Woods and Edgeshot, they formed a hero team called The Lurkers. Her quirk is called the Gigantification, and it is the most straightforward ability because it simply turns her into a giant.

With her quirk, Ms. Takeyama can reach a maximum height of around 20 meters, which is about the height of a six-story building. Unfortunately for her, she can’t grow to any other size but her normal and maximum size. Because of that, she has no choice but to specialize in combat against giant enemies. Furthermore, her strength also increases in proportion to her height. That’s why a single stomp while in her giant form can easily destroy a couple of houses.

5 Transform

Can Perfectly Transform Into Another Person

Himiko Toga Looking for Blood

Himiko Toga is one of the original members of the League of Villains. Similar to Muscular, Himiko is also an A-Rank villain and part of the Vanguard Action Squad of the League of Villains. Later on, she becomes one of the Lieutenants for the Paranormal Liberation Front.

Himiko’s quirk is called Transform. By ingesting the target’s blood, Himiko can transform into that target. She can perfectly mimic every detail of their appearance, including their voice. A cup of blood allows her to transform into that person for a day, and by ingesting blood from multiple people she can also transform into multiple people. After her Awakening, she can now copy the target’s quirk as well.

4 Dragon

Turns Into A Massive Dragon

My Hero Academia Best Heteromorphs Ryukyu No 10 Pro Hero

Ryuko Tatsuma, better known by her hero name Ryukyu, is the No. 10 pro hero in Japan. As one of the top 10 heroes in the country, Ryukyu is not only powerful, but she is incredibly popular as well. Uraraka, Tsuyu, and Nejire worked under Ryukyu during their Hero-Work Studies.

Contrary to her gentle nature and elegant appearance, Ryukyu’s power is brutal and over-the-top. Her quirk is called Dragon, and this power transforms her into a massive dragon the size of a three-story building. Apart from the massive body and strength, this form also grants her razor-sharp fangs and claws, along with the ability to fly. A true dragon in every sense of the word.

3 Arbor

Produce & Manipulate Woods

Kamui Woods restraining multiple members of the Paranormal Liberation Front in My Hero Acadmeia

Shinji Nishiya, also known as Kamui Woods, is a pro hero ranked No. 7. As mentioned earlier, he is also a member of the Team Lurkers, alongside Mt. Lady and Edgeshot. He specializes in crowd control, which includes rescuing, capturing, and restricting the movements of multiple people at the same time.

Shinji’s quirk is called Arbor. This quirk allows him to create branches of wood out of his body, usually his arms, and manipulate it in any way he wants. This makes him the perfect hero to face numerous low-level villains at the same time. Needless to say, he can also take down a high-level enemy by focusing his quirk on a single target, either by restricting their movements or breaking their bones.

2 Stress

Converts His Stress To Raw Power

Tomura_Vs._Re-Destro

Rikiya Yotsubashi is the CEO of a company called Detnerat, an A-Rank villain known as Re-Destro, and the Grand Commander of the Meta Liberation Army. Later on, he becomes one of the Lieutenants and the unofficial second-in-command for the Paranormal Liberation Front.

Rikiya’s quirk is called Stress. Whenever Rikiya feels stress, anger, or frustration, this quirk will convert those feelings into raw physical power. The more stressed he is, the more power he can channel through his fist. In peak stress, Rikiya can even transform into a giant who can obliterate a building with one punch. A partial transformation, such as turning his arm as big as a motorcycle, is also possible.

1 Foldabody

Can Manipulate The Thickness, Length, And Flexibility Of His Body

Edgeshot folding parts of his body with his Foldabody Quirk in My Hero Academia

Shinya Kamihara, better known by his hero name Edgeshot, is the current No. 4 hero in Japan. This soft-spoken ninja is the highest-ranked Transformer Quirk user in the country, which makes him one of the strongest, if not the strongest, heroes in this quirk category.

Shinya’s quirk is called Foldabody. This quirk allows him to fold his body into a thin and long piece of fabric or thread and enables him to bypass any kind of defense and strike the enemy straight into their organs.

In extreme cases, Edgeshot can even fold his body so thin that he can move through a human’s blood vessel and travel across the entire circulatory system. In fact, this is precisely what he does to save Bakugo’s life. As such, this feat is worth the title of Ultimate Transformation.
