There are eight different character stats in No Rest For The Wicked that determine your character’s strengths and weaknesses. Each time you level up, you will be rewarded with three attribute points, which you can use to improve your stats. As mentioned above, there are eight stats in No Rest For The Wicked. Here’s a quick overview of each of them and how they work.

Health

Health significantly increases your character’s maximum Hit Points and lets you take more damage before dying, giving you more room to make mistakes in combat. This will help you survive enemy attacks and take on more challenges without having to constantly heal yourself.

Stamina

Every action, from dodging and blocking to attacking enemies, drains your Stamina meter. Increasing Stamina lets your character attack more enemies and dodge or block more enemy attacks without getting exhausted.

Strength

Increases the amount of damage you can inflict when using a Strength-based Weapon.

Dexterity

Increases the amount of damage you can inflict when using a Dexterity-based Weapon.

Intelligence

Increases the amount of damage you can inflict when using an Intelligence-based Weapon.

Faith

Increases the amount of damage you can inflict when using a Faith-based Weapon.

Focus

Many weapons in No Rest For The Wicked come embedded with Runes which require a specific number of Focus points to activate. Leveling up the Focus stat increases your total Focus points. You get a new Focus bar for every 100 Focus points, which allows you to use more powerful Rune attacks.

Equip Load

Equip Load determines the total weight of equipment your character can carry without becoming encumbered. Each point invested into Equip Load adds 10 points to your carry weight.

Best Stats To Level Up First In No Rest For The Wicked

When you’re just starting out in No Rest For The Wicked, it’s highly recommended to allocate your attribute points to Health, Stamina, and Focus stats. These three are absolutely essential to surviving the intense encounters with enemies in the early areas and taking down the first boss in the game.

The Damage stats – Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Faith – are more suitable for mid-game stages since they directly impact what kind of weapon you can use effectively. Similarly, increasing the Equip Load isn’t as crucial early on because the gear you find is relatively lighter and will not affect your character’s weight.

The main priority in the early stages of No Rest For The Wicked is to stay alive and reach the town of Sacrament, which is why you should prioritize your character’s Health, Stamina, and Focus.
