The Gaia Cliff Monolith Danger Zone is a location in Once Human that players will visit as part of the game’s main story. While fans are at this location, they may want to address the Settlement Exploration – Gaia Cliff Monolith Danger Zone quest, which features five tasks. This guide is here to help players work through those tasks and complete the Gaia Cliff Monolith exploration quest in Once Human.
The Gaia Cliff Monolith Danger Zone is at coordinates 4556, -6023 in the Broken Delta region. It has a recommended level of 15, though players who have access to a well-calibrated
gun in
Once Human
should be able to deal with the enemies at the Gaia Cliff Monolith at a lower level.

Once Human: Gaia Cliff Monolith Exploration Guide
Look for Mystical Crate
Players who are looking for the Mystical Crate in the Gaia Cliff Monolith Danger Zone should begin at the location’s Teleportation Tower. From there, fans should walk along the stone pathway to the north and look at the roof of the building to the east. Indeed, there is a Mystical Crate on top of that building, and players can glide directly to it.
Defeat Elite Enemies
After opening the Mystical Crate, players should make their way to the northeast corner of the roof and glide down to the road that is below them. Fans should then follow the road northward to enter an underground area, and they should follow the path south once they are inside. This path will lead fans directly to an elite enemy, and they may want to summon a Deviation in Once Human for the fight.
Defeat Normal Enemies
Players can complete this task by using their favorite weapons in Once Human to dispatch 15 of the enemies that are scattered across the Gaia Cliff Monolith Danger Zone.
Find Weapon and Armor Crates
There are many Weapon and Armor Crates that can be used for this task, and here are the locations of four of them:
- Weapon Crate 1: Players who continue following the path that is used to reach the aforementioned elite enemy, and the location’s Rift Anchor, will eventually encounter a Weapon Crate that is enclosed in vines. Fans can remove those vines by hitting them with a Torch.
- Weapon Crate 2: Just before reaching the vine-enclosed crate, players will see a tunnel with sandbags on their left. After passing through that tunnel, players should follow the path that they encounter until it begins to turn southward. Here, fans of survival games should climb up the dirt ramp on their right and scale the cliff to reach an area with several glowing stacks of rocks. Those stacks can be destroyed with grenades, and a Weapon Crate is hidden inside one of them.
- Gear Crate 1: Once the glowing rocks have been destroyed, players should make their way to the stone path to the south. Fans should then glide to the structure that is below that path, and they will find a Gear Crate at the south end of that structure.
- Gear Crate 2: Players should now drop to the road that is below where they found the first Gear Crate and follow it southward. This road will eventually lead fans of open-world games into the building in which the Monolith is found, and there is a Gear Crate in the Office Room near the entrance.
Activate Rift Anchor
The Rift Anchor is situated along the underground path upon which the aforementioned elite enemy can be found. More specifically, there are declining tree roots on the right side of that path, and they lead directly to the Rift Anchor.
If a player is unable to activate this
Rift Anchor in
Once Human
, they should complete some more of the game’s main quests and then try again.
