The Egghead arc has got off to a great start. So far, fans have witnessed a good combination of action and story. The arc has revealed characters who are going to play a crucial role in the Final Saga of One Piece. The biggest of them has been Dr. Vegapunk, the genius scientist who has been working for the Marines for decades.

In the recent episodes, action fanatics got their money’s worth as Luffy went toe-to-toe with Rob Lucci. This was the third and very likely final fight between the two. Luffy was the favorite to win, and he proved why he is considered one of the strongest pirates in the world. He defeated Lucci almost effortlessly, and the CP0 member had little to no response. When the fight was over, the attention shifted to the other individuals on Egghead Island.

Old Rivals Meet

kaku one piece characters flopped in the final saga

In One Piece Episode 1103, fans saw Kaku and Zoro coming face-to-face. Like Lucci and Luffy, these two were also involved in a battle in Enies Lobby. Kaku, who was working with CP9 at the time, gave Zoro a lot of trouble. The latter had to come up with a new technique to beat the Cipher Pol agent. Naturally, this created a rivalry between the two.

In Episode 1103, Zoro and Kaku crossed paths again. Kaku intended to destroy the Thousand Sunny, so he unleashed a powerful attack. However, Zoro stood in the way and made sure that the ship was unharmed.

Bonney Chases The Truth

Vegapunk turned into a kid

Jewelry Bonney, Kuma’s daughter, also traveled to Egghead Island. Her goal was to confront Dr. Vegapunk and learn the truth behind Kuma’s transformation into a cyborg. Bonney was already extremely emotional, and seeing the Pacifista sent her over the edge.

She was never going to let Vegapunk get away without getting the answers. So she chased him around in hopes of finding the answer. Bonney used her Toshi Toshi no Mi to reduce Vegapunk’s age and turn him into a defenseless kid. With nowhere else to go, Vegapunk was left at Bonney’s mercy. But before she could do anything else, a sound caught her attention, so she decided to follow it. It led her to a locked room, but she easily opened it with her ability. Inside, she saw a paw-shaped bubble. Vegapunk kept telling her that it had nothing to do with Kuma, but his words fell on deaf ears.

Other Notable Events

Eustass Kid grins as he walks through Onigashima.

Towards the end of the episode, fans saw Eustass Kid and his crew getting close to Elbaf. The country is home to giants, which makes it one of the strongest nations in the world. Additionally, it has been speculated that Elbaf is under the protection of Shanks, one of the Yonko. So, the Kid Pirates will have to get ready for another major battle.

Monkey D. Garp also appeared in the episode. He was outside the Marine base, where Helmeppo and Hibari were staying. Garp called out to them and told them to stop crying. The Vice Admiral ordered them to come aboard his ship after which they would begin their mission to rescue Koby from the clutches of Blackbeard.

Release Date

One Piece Episode 1104 will be released on May 12th, 2024. It is titled, “A Desperate Situation! The Seraphim’s All-out Attack!.” The episode will focus on the fight between Zoro and Kaku. After Lucci and Luffy finished their duel, it is time for their underlings to fight. Since the two last met, a lot has changed. They have both become stronger and have learned new techniques. Zoro is the favorite to win the fight, as fans have a better idea of his abilities. However, it would be foolish to undermine Kaku. He is extremely talented at using Rokushiki, and he combines it exceptionally well with his Devil Fruit. There is a good chance that Kaku has awakened his Devil Fruit as well. If it turns out to be true, then Kaku’s physical abilities will be significantly boosted. So, Zoro won’t be able to end the fight, as quickly as he may have wanted.

Even if Kaku is defeated, CP0 still have the Seraphim on their side, so it won’t make too much of a difference. Given the fact that there are so powerful, the Straw Hats will have to be on their toes if they want to get away from the island safely.

Kuma and Akainu

Akainu

In the preview of One Piece Episode 1104, Bartholomew Kuma could be seen climbing the Red Line for some unknown reason. The former Revolutionary left Kamabakka Kingdom without giving any reason. Since the Marine headquarters have shifted, it is possible that Akainu may confront Kuma and stop him from doing anything dangerous.

The Fleet Admiral has a reputation for going all out against criminals, so he won’t hold back against Kuma. If the former Revolutionary doesn’t escape, he may meet his end at the hands of Akainu.
