Overwatch 2, the successor to the original Overwatch that was released back in 2016, features a myriad of characters in the game. Each character includes a wide range of different cosmetics to earn and equip. The Pink Mercy skin was originally released in 2018 for a short period of time as a part of Overwatch 2‘s fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and recently made a limited-time return to the shop. Players immediately fell in love with the cosmetic, and it quickly became one of Mercy’s more popular skins in both Overwatch and Overwatch 2 despite its rarity.

Overwatch 2 Pink Mercy Cosplay
One of the highlights of the Pink Mercy cosplay is the staff that the Reddit user and cosplayer created herself. She was able to get the top of the staff to appear as if it was floating above the rest of it, exactly as it does in Overwatch 2, with seemingly nothing holding it up. The Reddit user shared some cosplay tips and tricks, explaining how she got that piece to appear as if it was floating. She stated that she uses a clear straw to hold the piece up and thus the straw remains barely visible in real life and gives the illusion that the top of the staff is floating.
Despite the overwhelming positive feedback that the cosplayer received on her Pink Mercy cosplay, she still plans on cleaning up a few aspects of the outfit before it is fully completed. Eventually, she plans on making her props move exactly how they do in Overwatch 2 and even plans on taking this cosplay to a competition in the near future. With the immense amount of praise received for its accuracy, it is without a doubt that her cosplay will continue to impress the Overwatch 2 and cosplaying communities.
