Pokemon GO returns the Winter Holiday 2023 event with multiple Timed Research quests and Ice-type Pokemon. The event debuts the much-awaited Terra Whale Pokemon, Cetoddle and Cetitan, and new costumed monsters like Holiday Attire Pikachu and Holiday Attire Raichu. Divided into Parts 1 and 2, the Winter Holiday 2023 event’s part 1 offers the Frosty Festivities Timed research.


The Winter Holiday 2023 (Part 1) started on Monday, December 18, at 10 AM and will be live till Monday, December 25, at 10 AM Local Time. Once it is over, Pokemon GO players can participate in the Second Part of the event, where they can continue completing the different Research quests offered in Part 1. The Frosty Festivities Timed Research quest comprises multiple Steps with dedicated tasks and rewards for completing them. Pokemon GO Winter Holiday 2023

The Winter Holiday 2023 Part 1 brings a Field Research quest and multiple Timed Research, including the Frosty Festivities Timed Research. Participants of the Frosty Festivities Timed Research have to complete 4 different Steps, each with 3 different tasks, making a total of 12 tasks. Players can get this Timed Research for $5.00 or the equivalent cost of one’s local currency. Finish the tasks and claim rewards before December 31, 2023, at 8 PM local time.

The Frosty Festivities Timed Research tasks range from spinning PokeStops, catching multiple Pokemon, using Berries, making curveball throws, and more. Completing these tasks offers various rewards, including encounters with Holiday Cubchoo, Holiday Attire Pikachu, Holiday Hat Eevee, and more. Players can also get a new Hot Chocolate Pose for their Pokemon GO Avatar and items like Pinap Berry, Incense, and Incubator.
