Highlights
- Stonjourner, Eiscue, Armarouge, and Ceruledge will be available in upcoming Tera raid battles in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, regardless of the version played.
- The current Tera raid battle features Empoleon as a Seven-Star boss with Ice-type attacks, making it vulnerable to special attacks and status moves.
- The Tera raid battles for Stonjourner, Eiscue, Armarouge, and Ceruledge will take place from February 15 to February 18, allowing players to catch version-exclusive Pokemon.
Though two Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Tera raid battles are already scheduled throughout the middle of February, trainers will soon have more to do, as Stonjourner, Eiscue, Armarouge, and Ceruledge join the lineup. These upcoming Tera raid battles in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will make these version-exclusive critters available to players regardless of the game played.
At the time of writing, the current Tera raid battle in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet pits trainers against a Seven-Star boss, Empoleon the Unrivaled. Known as the Emperor Pokemon, Empoleon is usually a Water and Steel dual-type powerhouse. But in the ongoing Seven-star Tera Raid battle, Empoleon has the Ice-type as its Tera type, and uses both special attacks and status moves to bolster itself. Since it does not use physical attacks, this means that Pokemon such as Blissey can offer support to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players looking to capture this tough opponent. The Empoleon Tera raids will conclude on Sunday, February 11, at 6:59 p.m. Eastern.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Have Passed Gold and Silver on the Sales Charts
New information shows that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have surpassed the Gen 2 games in total sales, making them some of the franchise’s best sellers.
Following both the Empoleon Tera raid and the Valentine’s Day Tera raid battles against Luvdisc, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players will be able to catch Stonjourner, Eiscue, Armarouge, and Ceruledge in both versions. The Tera raid battles against these four Pokemon will start on Thursday, February 15, at 7:00 p.m. Eastern, and conclude on Sunday, February 18, at 6:59 p.m. Stonjourner and Eiscue first appeared in Pokemon Sword and Shield as version-exclusive creatures found in the wild areas. Armarouge and Ceruledge are version-exclusive evolutions of Charcadet that require using either the Auspicious Armor in Pokemon Scarlet or the Malicious Armor in Pokemon Violet to obtain. Stonjourner, Eiscue, Armarouge, and Ceruledge will each have a random Tera type, and they will appear in three-star to five-star Tera raid dens scattered throughout Paldea.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Tera Raids (Stonjourner, Eiscue, Armarouge, Ceruledge)
- Starts on Thursday, February 15, at 7:00 p.m. Eastern
- Ends on Sunday, February 18, at 6:59 p.m
Stonjourner and Armarouge are normally exclusive to Pokemon Scarlet, and the same goes for Eiscue and Ceruledge in Pokemon Violet. But, these upcoming Tera raid battles will give Pokemon players the chance to catch some version-exclusive Pokemon they normally would not be able to get otherwise. Given the fact that the highest level these particular Pokemon can be fought at is level 75, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet trainers should use a decent level 100 Pokemon that can take advantage of a specific Tera type’s weaknesses. Trainers can find and capture as many of these Tera raid Pokemon as they want, while the event lasts.
Between the Tera raid battles and the ongoing Spirits event in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fans have a busy month of content. It remains to be seen what else The Pokemon Company will continue to do as Pokemon Day approaches.
