It seems that the Dragon’s Dogma 2 release date will be March 22, 2024. The original Dragon’s Dogma launched back in 2012 and proved popular enough to kickstart a new franchise for Capcom. Future Dragon’s Dogma installments included an MMORPG and an animated Netflix show, but Capcom has taken quite a while to move forward with a proper sequel.

One has to imagine that the game’s release date will be announced then, at which point fans will know for sure if Dragon’s Dogma 2 is truly coming out on March 22 or not.

That being said, it’s not a guarantee that the Dragon’s Dogma 2 release date will be announced at the November 28 showcase. All that’s known about it for sure is that it will be about 15 minutes long and will feature Dragon’s Dogma 2 director Hideaki Itsuno and producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi. The showcase promises to reveal the “latest news” about Dragon’s Dogma 2, but that is certainly open for interpretation.
At the very least, fans can expect fresh Dragon’s Dogma 2 gameplay to be showcased at the event. Capcom has already released some extensive videos detailing Dragon Dogma’s 2 gameplay, confirming that the game will greatly appeal to fans of the original. Dragon’s Dogma 2 retains many of the features that helped define its predecessor, like the innovative Pawn system, but it is also looking to move things forward in some big ways.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 has some ambitious goals, and only time will tell if it is able to meet them. Hopefully the leaked March 22 release date is accurate so fans don’t have to wait too much longer to find out for themselves.
