Fallout 76’s Season 18 Leaks and Datamines Explained
Trusted Fallout 76 leaker and dataminer Nuka Knights claims that Season 18 will primarily feature a Blue Ridge Caravan theme, with outfits, armor, and weapon skins inspired by this faction. The Seasonal rewards will also include a typical variety of outfits, consumables, and CAMP items. From the leaks so far, the new Seasonal Scoreboard weapon in Fallout 76 appears to be a stop sign melee weapon.
Also, unrelated to the new Seasonal rewards, datamines from Nuka Knights also claim that the Mutated Public Events will receive updated rewards in the Milepost Zero update, notably including some of
the rarest apparel items in
Fallout 76

Players Can Build Their Own Caravan in Fallout 76’s Milepost Zero Update
The new Caravans feature coming to Fallout 76 will allow players to develop their own corner of the Appalachian wasteland in what appears to be more like the base-building found in Skyrim’s Hearthfire DLC instead of Fallout 76’s existing CAMP-building system. The player’s Caravan will consist of a personalized homestead, recruitable allies, and a domesticated pack Brahmin, all separate from the player’s CAMP. Players will be able to bring their Brahmin along on repeatable escort missions to gather the new Supplies currency used for upgrading their Caravan’s facilities.
Fallout 76 is Making a Massive Change to Legendary Armor and Weapon Crafting
In addition to new content, the Milepost Zero update will introduce an overhaul to Fallout 76’s legendary crafting system, which appears to be completely replacing the existing system. Previously, players could craft legendary gear and continuously re-roll all of the Legendary effects on the item until players were happy with the results. However, with Fallout 76’s new Legendary crafting system, most legendary items won’t be able to be re-rolled, and players will instead need to scrap items for a chance to earn individual Legendary effects as mods, which can then be applied directly to weapons and armor.
Fallout 76’s Milepost Zero Combat Rebalance Explained
The Milepost Zero update will also continue an ongoing effort in Fallout 76 to rebalance combat in the game up to the standards of the current meta weapons and enemy damage resistance values. At QuakeCon 2024, Fallout 76’s Creative Director, Jon Rush, described the approach to combat rebalancing as being all buffs and no nerfs, intending to give players more options that can compete with Fallout 76’s meta Bloodied builds. With this particular update, some of the biggest changes coming to combat are improvements to damage over time status effects, like Poison and Fire.
