Horizon 3 Needs to Live Up to Forbidden West in One Key Area
Horizon: Forbidden West managed to enhance the machine designs from the first game, Horizon: Zero Dawn, by introducing new and more challenging enemies. The existential threat posed by these machines is at the heart of Horizon’s story and combat, making it difficult for Guerrilla Games to top their previous efforts. The art design of Forbidden West’s machines set a high bar, and the third game will need to bring something truly innovative to meet or exceed those standards.
