Players can become a fearsome naval explorer in Ubisoft’s Skull and Bones. The time has almost come for players to sail the seas and make a name for themselves, surviving against nature and pirate hunters. Skull and Bones focuses on multiplayer aspects and naval combat during the Golden Age of Piracy. After several delays, the pirate RPG has an official release date.

While players could get a head start during the Open Beta, the base game doesn’t come out until February 16. Skull and Bones will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Amazon Luna, and Microsoft Windows. Skull and Bones Launch and Early Access Time

Ubisoft posted an official announcement, including information on pre-load availability, early access, and launch details. Like with the Open Beta, players can pre-load their game after purchasing, but the release time depends on what edition players purchase. Those with the Premium Edition or a Ubisoft+ subscription will get early access up to three days before the official launch.

Skull and Bones early access starts on February 13 at midnight local time and launches officially on February 16 at 12 AM local time. Certain regions will get access to the game before others due to time zone differences.

If players started in the Skull and Bones Open Beta version, their progress will carry over to the official game using their Ubisoft account. The only way to start a new playthrough is to log in with a different Ubisoft account. The full version has more to offer, including activities and endgame content. Those with the Premium edition will also receive the following:

The Ballad of Bloody Bones Collection, including a captain outfit and cosmetic ship items.
Two extra missions, including The Ashen Corsair and Bloody Bones’ Legacy.
Digital art book and selected game soundtrack.
Smuggler Pass token to unlock the premium battle pass and additional content.
