What Are Trade Routes in Skull and Bones

Skull and Bones Undiscovered Trade Route

Trade and Supply Routes are mapped out automatically as players sail through them. A notification informs players their map is updated whenever a route is complete. Hovering over the Trade Route will give players a short description, including what the route is used for and whose territory it is.

Trade Routes are used to trade valuable commodities between settlements and forts. Players may also be able to pick up loot local to the area, like Cloves and Iroko Plank. Supply Routes are similar and are used to send refined resources to settlements and forts. However, the real bounty is the ships traveling along the routes.

Skull and Bones Trade Route Enemy Ship

Trade and Supply Routes are usually packed with enemy ships carrying materials, Silver, and commodities. These ships can be attacked and sank or boarded. Once the vessel is compromised, players are free to loot it. Look for nearby reinforcements when taking on ships along Trade Routes.

These routes are connected by settlements and forts, which can be plundered for their surplus of items. Plundering a location causes a wave of attacks to hit, and players must face off against battle towers and naval forces. Once the plunder is complete, much loot is waiting at the end.

Skull and Bones Settlement along Trade Route

Players will take on Contracts that ask them to gather items or need to collect materials for ships and weapons. The Trade Routes track what items players can plunder and who they must attack to get them. If you attack certain groups and organizations too often, they will become more aggressive on sight.

The only way to discover Trade and Supply Routes is to sail along them, which happens naturally as players explore the world. They can be viewed at any time by clicking on the map.
