A Starfield player online has shared their impressive recreation of Anakin Skywalker’s Jedi Interceptor from Star Wars: Episode 3 – Revenge of the Sith. Starfield has seen plenty of amazing ship builds since its release last year, but this latest creation is a great crossover between two franchises.

Prior to the release of Starfield, the ship-building feature was touted as a huge innovation to the typical Bethesda formula, giving players the ability to create their own starship and use it to fly around the galaxy. While many feel that Starfield didn’t live up to the hype, there’s no doubt that the ship-building is the exception to this. Gamers have really shown their creativity in this regard – recently, one Starfield player even built a ship that looks like a Halo Energy Sword, and it’s amazing to see how far fans are pushing what is possible in this regard.

A Starfield player uses the outposts system to begin recolonizing the remains of Earth in the game, attempting to restore it to its former glory.

The Starfield build was posted to Reddit by user Fast_Geologist4046, showcasing an amazing recreation of Anakin Skywalker’s Jedi Interceptor starship from Star Wars: Episode 3 – Revenge of the Sith. The details are incredible, and it even features a small recreation of R2-D2 on the side of the ship. However, with Starfield’s focus on larger ship builds, the scale is off, with this version being much larger than the starfighter seen in Star Wars. Still, it’s instantly recognizable as Anakin’s starfighter, immediately joining the ranks of amazing Star Wars builds in Starfield.

Anakin Skywalker’s Jedi Interceptor in Starfield

With Star Wars and Starfield being two massively recognizable sci-fi franchises, it makes sense that players are creating crossover builds between the two. However, this particular build isn’t the first to be made involving Anakin Skywalker. In fact, not long after the game first launched, one Starfield player built Anakin’s podracer from The Phantom Menace. Given the popularity of the character and the clear connection between the two franchises, it’s possible that even more of Anakin’s starships will be recreated in Starfield at some point in the future.

It’ll be interesting to see what the rest of the year holds for Starfield. Bethesda is likely aware of how important the reception of the upcoming Shattered Space DLC will be, given how many long-time fans of the studio reacted to the base game. With The Elder Scrolls 6 recently confirmed as being in active development, the developer will want players to be excited, as opposed to the caution that some players might feel at the moment. 2024 will be crucial in Bethesda’s attempts to win back some goodwill that some fans feel the studio lost recently.
