Part of the process of playing an MMORPG is choosing the right server to play on, and the same goes for Throne and Liberty. Not every player in the game can populate the same areas all at once, which is why different servers are used to keep everything contained and manageable for the game to handle. However, it can be a little intimidating to choose which one is the best fit for what players are looking for.

What Are Your First Impressions of Throne and Liberty?
I’ve only just booted up Throne And Liberty, but so far I’ve found it to be visually really striking and impressive. The mechanics and gameplay take a little getting used to, but I think it’ll be a good one!
Fortunately, players can look for a few different things in a server that can tip them off about which servers will be their best bet. It becomes even more stressful when players realize they can’t just change servers for free; they will have to spend Lucent to switch servers if they want to later on. This guide has these things that people can look out for so no one is left in a server they regret being a part of.
Tips For Picking The Best Server
Players will be faced with their server decision when creating a character. Here are the things that they can look out for when choosing the server to join:
Look At Their Region
Servers are placed all around the world and choosing one that is closest to the player’s location has a ton of benefits. An online-only game needs a stable connection to make sure things stay consistent, so having a server that is closest to the location of playing is paramount to that.
Plus, if a player chooses a server that is close to them, they will have the proper language to communicate with other players and just know what they’re doing.
Check Where Friends Are Playing
With a huge focus on the social aspect of the game, players should also know where the friends they may be playing with are going to be. Anyone looking to join a friend or two who have already been playing will want to hop on that server.
The last thing a person wants is to jump onto a server and expect to hop to another one with their friends. Since the game is pretty strict with server-hopping, coordinating this beforehand is an important part of the game.
Go Where The Guild Goes
In the same vein as playing with friends, Throne and Liberty offers players to band together en masse by creating and joining Guilds. These massive player-controlled groups offer people a lot of benefits for joining, such as access to a special shop and making it easier to find a party when playing.
Players will want to decide if they are going to join a Throne and Liberty Guild before joining a server, and also which one they want to join. This can make choosing the right server much simpler.
How Active Is The Server?
Possibly the most important thing to look at when joining a server is how active that server is, i.e. how populated it is. The server selection will show players their status as either Active, Busy, or Full. Active is the least-populated and Full is, obviously, the most.
At first, it’ll be tempting to join an Active server to avoid the Full ones, but this could be a problem. Active servers risk becoming empty eventually, as those players either stop playing the game or move on to a bigger server. Also, a more populated server has a better chance of progressing a little further, making waiting in a queue worthwhile.
