Key Takeaways
- A Farewell to Arms requires 120 achievements from Battle for Azeroth, granting the Jani’s Trashpile mount.
- You Xal Not Pass needs 42 achievements from The War Within, rewarding the Shadow of Doubt mount.
- Players can earn I’m On Island Time while working towards A Farewell to Arms, unlocking the Honeyback Hivemother mount.
World of Warcraft is adding two meta achievements in Patch 11.0.7: one for old Battle for Azeroth content, and another for The War Within. These milestones require players to earn tons of other achievements in order to obtain them but reward stellar new World of Warcraft mounts for doing so.
In Patch 10.2.6, World of Warcraft introduced A World Awoken and Back from the Beyond, two meta achievements associated with Dragonflight and Shadowlands respectively. Earning them requires players to earn over 100 smaller achievements spread throughout each expansion, but rewards some amazing mounts for doing so: Taivan for A World Awoken and Zovaal’s Shadebeast for Back from the Beyond.

World of Warcraft Buffing Several Racial Abilities in Patch 11.0.7
Nearly a dozen playable races from World of Warcraft are getting buffs to their active and passive abilities in Patch 11.0.7 for The War Within.
Now, World of Warcraft is adding a couple more meta achievements players can work towards in Patch 11.0.7. The first is You Xal Not Pass, which awards the Shadow of Doubt mount to fans who earn 42 different achievements spread throughout The War Within, including those found on the Siren Isle in the new update. The second, A Farewell to Arms, requires players to earn over 120 achievements from Battle for Azeroth – but grants Jani’s Trashpile, a mount that seemingly transforms characters into a visage of the famous scavenging loa.
- A Farewell to Arms
- Complete over 120 achievements from Battle for Azeroth
- Reward: Jani’s Trashpile mount
- You Xal Not Pass
- Complete 42 achievements from The War Within (including new ones from the Siren Isle)
- Reward: Shadow of Doubt mount
Fans will get a couple of other mount rewards on their journey towards these meta achievements as well. Players will earn I’m On Island Time while working towards A Farewell to Arms by completing achievements across Zandalar and Kul Tiras, unlocking the Honeyback Hivemother mount in the process. Additionally, The Breaker’s Song, a flying ship mount, is a reward for Isle Remember You, a prerequisite for You Xal Not Pass earned by completing every new achievement on the Siren Isle – not to mention the long-awaited Stormcrow mount coming in World of Warcraft Patch 11.0.7 in the form of Thrayir, the Eye of the Storm.
While these meta achievements require players to obtain tons of new achievements, most of the objectives can be completed in the game right now. Fans can technically finish every prerequisite achievement for these mounts in World of Warcraft today, save those on the Siren Isle. If they did, they would finish one meta achievement immediately upon logging in after the patch, and the other once they finish everything in the new zone.
These achievements aren’t the only things coming in the new update. World of Warcraft is buffing various racial abilities, adding Arathi ear customizations for Humans, Kul Tirans, and Worgen in their Human forms, and letting players queue for cross-faction dungeons with full parties. The patch doesn’t currently have a release date, but text discovered in the Public Test Realm suggests it could arrive in World of Warcraft as early as December 10.
