Each character belongs to a faction, which upholds a certain value and decorum when operating in the city. Since the city is filled with Hollows that can be detrimental to citizens, the factions contribute in their own way to minimize the damage.

From espionage to criminal investigations, these factions each have their own stories, adding depth to Zenless Zone Zero’s narrative and giving players an idea of what they actually represent in New Eridu. Most of the characters are playable; however, there are some factions that have yet to be officially introduced with all their respective members. Their members are considered to be masters in strategy and stealth, excelling in espionage and all tactical operations. They’re pretty resourceful, and if the price is right, they’ll take on any Hollow-related challenge.
