Alexandrite Location in Disney Dreamlight Valley
As important as gems are in the game, acquiring them can be challenging for some players. This is because each gem is native to a specific biome.
As far as Alexandrite is concerned, this rare gem is found in The Wastes and The Oasis areas of Eternity Isle. Both these areas are located in the Glittering Dunes biome, the same biome where you’ll encounter Gaston. However, you won’t be able to unlock this biome right after entering the Eternity Isle, as unlocking it requires a lot of Mist.
After unlocking Glittering Dunes, players will also need to unlock The Wastes and The Oasis, which require 4,000 and 6,000 Mist, respectively. The Wastes is cheaper to unlock, so players can consider unlocking it first. Lastly, you’ll also need to get your hands on the Royal Hourglass tool first, which can be obtained by completing The Flying Nuisance quest for EVE.
Once you’ve reached the right biome, start mining rock spots for Alexandrite. Keep in mind that it’s a rare gem, so be patient and keep mining until you find it. In addition, consider taking along a buddy with the mining role, as they may also drop a gem when you find one. Rocks keep spawning every five minutes, so keep mining until you secure the gem you came looking for.
How to Use Alexandrites in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Once players have Alexandrite, they can sell it at Goofy’s Stall to earn 350 Star Coins. In addition, you will also need to gather it as a part of some quests, such as Center of Attention.
