Disney Dreamlight Valley is a charming life sim in which players enter a delightful world where they forge friendships with beloved Disney and Pixar characters. The game centers around completing quests, but players can partake in many other activities as well, such as cooking, farming, and mining.

The recent A Rift in Time expansion brought a plethora of recipes to the game, expanding its culinary options. These meals require players to collect a wide variety of ingredients. Clams are one of the seafood ingredients that have been in Disney Dreamlight Valley since day one. They are an important ingredient in various cooking and crafting recipes, and you’ll also need to collect them to complete some quests. However, despite their distinctive pink color, they can be hard to find as they’re only found in one biome.

How to Find Clams in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To obtain clams, players need to explore the Dazzle Beach biome, where these mollusks spawn abundantly. Just like oysters, they spawn throughout the biome.

Dazzle Beach is among the first biomes that players can unlock, costing only 1,000 Dreamlight. Players who are short on Dreamlight can earn some by completing their Dreamlight Duties. You can always find Clams in Dazzle Beach, but they can be more conveniently spotted during the day due to their bright appearance.

As mentioned earlier, Clams are a pretty common spawn, so players will likely find quite a few of them in no time. However, for those who don’t want to spend too much time physically looking for clams, using the Furniture Mode can be helpful. This feature provides an overhead view of the biome, allowing you to find clams more easily. After spotting clams in the Furniture Mode, you can manually travel to the identified point in the biome and collect the desired ingredient.

How to Use Clams in Disney Dreamlight Valley

While Clams are not the star ingredient in many recipes, they can be used in place of seafood ingredients in various meals. Some examples include Bouillabaisse, Chowder, Seafood Platter, and Sweet Udon. In addition to that, you’ll also need them to craft Enchanted Stage during the Voice of Reason Dream Bundle Quest and Seashell Frame during the Meddling Mirabel friendship quest for Mirabel. Each clam can replenish 120 energy upon consumption, and if you want to sell it, it can fetch 50 Star Coins at Goofy’s Stall.
