One imaginative Helldivers 2 player has come up with armor concepts that have their own unique design. Armor sets in Helldivers 2 are an integral part of any loadout, offering the wearer a level of protection and increasing their survivability. They are divided into three categories: light, medium, and heavy, each with its own benefits and drawbacks. It can sometimes get confusing to choose the best armor set for the character, as there are a plethora of options available in the game.

Armor sets in Helldivers 2 come with three main stats: stamina regeneration, speed, and armor rating, which improve the wearer’s defensive capabilities. They can be purchased from Warbonds and Super Store with Medals and Super Credits. These items offer a passive ability that assists players in combat. Some passives increase stim effect duration and provide resistance to arc damage, while others boost armor rating by a percentage and reduce recoil when crouching. One thing to note is that capes and helmets have no perks, unlike armor.

Helldivers 2 Adding Vehicles Could Turn the Tables on Automatons in One Way

While the Automatons in Helldivers 2 are a force to be reckoned with, they may be easier to handle if players get more access to vehicles.

One creative Helldivers 2 player, who goes by ChrisEmpyre on Reddit, showed ten different armor concepts that Arrowhead would add to the game in the future. These armor sets include Mule, Hazmat, Sniper, Mechanic, Fireproofed, Juggernaut, Drone Signal Booster, Ammunition Belts, Stabilizer, and Stim Infusion, each providing the wearer with a passive ability. Hazmat increases resistance to gas and bile damage, while Juggernaut boosts melee damage by 50%. Sniper, on the other hand, lets players use thermal vision while in first person.

Helldivers 2 Player Comes Up With Unique Armor Concepts

According to descriptions, the Mechanic armor set allows players to repair Helldivers 2‘s Exosuit Mechs and Sentries with one click, while Mule provides two additional charges for any backpack. There are also Stim Infusion and Stabilizer, which increase speed by 15% and decrease reload time with one-handed weapons, respectively.

As for Ammunition Belts, Fireproofed, and Drone Signal Booster, they give additional magazines, increase drone aggro and roving range by 200%, and provide resistance to fire damage. At first glance, these armor sets may seem overpowered, but their adjusted versions would be nice additions to Helldivers 2‘s Warbonds.

Speaking of armor sets, Helldivers 2 has secretly introduced a feature that makes these items look even more terrifying. This cosmetic feature, which wasn’t mentioned in the patch notes, adds dirt to the gear if the player survives multiple missions. However, there is no option to clear all the mess and blood on their armor set.
